Best runes for Jax?

What runes do you recommend getting for Jax?

Would you recommend this for an AP build or would Magic Pen marks be better?

I would definately go with the mPen marks for an AP build, dodge seals are pretty much mandatory on Jax, I usually go clarity or MR glyphs but I havent really played around with cd runes yet. Clarity is nice for me because I don't go into utility with my build.

Damn, I already have these Runes. I was hoping to buy some I don't have. I have so much IP sitting there doing nothing.

you can try critical jax :D but that this isnt much needed, also you can try to go tank jax with armor and health runes

I was thinking of even going AP for Glyphs for added damage on skills + health because of the new passive.

well still best is hybrid jax AP/AS/ATK, kills fastest, and for runes you need to have like 2 sets of them depending on team also... but I still go, cd, dodge and armor pen suz magig pen kinda doest go good....

Sorry you guys, but have you crunched the numbers on the cool down runes? You get full glyph cooldown runes 5.85%, now times that by 100 which moves your percentage where it needs to be so .0585 now times this number by the seconds on the abilities. lets say Jax's Q ability the pounce which is a 17 second cool down, these runes take that down by just under one second. Now the more important ability his dodge/stun ability which is a 5 second cool down. This takes .3 seconds off of it. Now is that really going to make a difference? I highly doubt it. Your choices are very limited for glyphs as far as Jax is concerned. My 2 cents is don't go cool down runes, cause they're next to useless.

When I do play jax (not often) I just run my generic physical dps rune page. That is to say, Arpen reds, dodge yellows, mp5/lvl blues, flat hp quints.

Works well on him. He needs some form of mp5 naturally, and it's better to be able to rush to your rageblade than have to build some form of item for it.
