Introduction

This guide will show you every thing you need to know about going mid lane with Aatrox, so you can have everything from that early game dominance to the late game destruction. Hope you enjoy if you like thumbs up. ~TSM!!!~

Runes

I prefer these runes because you have to remember your mid lane, mid lane is full of other AP casters and if you wanna beat em all you'll have to be able to take the hits you have to that's where the magic resist comes from. The armor is for the jungler in the game if he decides to gank normally junglers are AD, there are exeptions... Zac for instince but for the most part its all AD. The last part is Aatrox is not a tank. hes a high damage ad bruiser melee, treat him as such and give him life steal so he can stand up to those busty chamions and maintain lane pressure far beyond the enemy laner. The attack damage reds are not very kosier but when you need that early game dom i recommend it. Lastly is the Cool down reduction this is so you can have heavy poke Aatrox doesnt run on mana or energy so continue to poke with your E and use that lifesteal to stay in the game and stay 1 step ahead of your opponent. ~Knight~Carter~

This build gives an equal display of tank-damage on the offensive tree you have cd and attack speed at 2 to keep it kinda balanced then the rest is so you can deal more damage based on if you land a spell or a basic first. on the defensive tree we have 9 its all pretty self explanitory there and the 1 in block is so you can get juggernaut. you leave the utility with 0 due to no need for mana and the offensive tree offers more. ~Knight~Carter~

Ignite & Flash
this can go either way i prefer this order, but the flash is so you can get away/in in clutch situations and the ignite is for comfirming that kill when they get to far away. ~Knight~Carter~

my preferance build is so you can start in on that early bloodthirster. The other is if your not completely confident or are up against a counter.

This is a high damage build, my personal favorite. It is the perfect cross between damage and survivebility.

the first thing you want maxed out is that poke so E. then its all about that W you want the lifesteal/extra damage that comes from it. last is the Q your dive. as always put a point in your R whenever you can. ~Knight~Carter~

Skills

Blood Well
This is Aatrox's passive It allows him to get back up every so often. after takeing fatal damage. Its usefullness is up to you if you have a full blood bar you will be revived with more health if your blood bar is near empty you will be revived with less health.
Dark Flight
This is a gap closer and a knock up, by far one of the most usefull abilitys of Aatrox.
Blood Thirst
This is one of two things. The first half is a 3 hit health rejuv, while the second half is a 3 hit damage bonus but takes life. this ability is toggle.
Blades of Torment
This is you means of poke. It is also your means of slow, so use it wisely and remember it can also help you get away from those awful melee champs.
Massacre
This is Aatrox's ult. This is you all in mentality all wrapped up in a skill. When used you draw blood from opponents and increase your own damage while decreasing your opponents attack speed. Its up every 100 sec or so. so its pretty versitile.

Early Game

You need to lay down the line early game and make sure that your enemy laner knows you mean business.

Mid Game

Show complete control, make sure to help out ally laner's with lane ganks. And go for objectives. Try and force team fights.

Late Game

Take towers. Force fights. Apply heavy pressure.

Teamfights

You whole goal in a team fight is to lay down AOE and keep them either attacking you or not attacking at all aim your Q at the largest group of enemys and start it off keep your R on during the fight and remember to keep control of your W.

Conclusion

Face it your Aatrox your gonna end the game with loads of kills and tons of tower kills. Accept your fate and win. :D
