With lee sin you try to get the early game rolling, that's why you need to go agressive. You don't need the tanky masteries in the jungle anyways because of your W and potions. You can also take cooldown reduction instead of attack speed on lee because he is more of an ability than AA champion. You do really need to pick the Tough Skin / Bladed Armor for Lee, otherwise the junglecamps will damage you too much.

Summoner Sets

Smite & Flash
These are the normal summoner spells you take on Lee Sin jungle.
Smite & Ignite
You can take ignite when you think you don't need flash and/or if you think you are going to brawl alot with the enemy jungler. I recommend smite/flash though.

Item Builds

Starting Build(s)
Default Starting Build
5
Life steal
Normally you will start with the machete with the 5 health pots and build it into the spirit of the ancient golem. This will give you alot health in the early fase and will make your jungling less riskier. These items are recommended if you take the primary runepage.

Otherwise you can go for the Doran's Blade with 1 health pot, you do need to have the lifesteal quints in your runepage if you want to start with this, otherwise you will get fairly low when you reach level 3. This means you can't immediately gank and you will need to back off, which takes away the early power of Lee Sin. If you do take the lifesteal runes it will benefit your early strength and will make ganks alot stronger and safer as you have more AD and Health.
Final Build(s)
Standard Final Items
It will come to your mind is: Where is the junglers item? Let me explain you that.

As lee sin you are the one that has to make plays in the early game, if you are able to do that you can build on aggressive in the early stage, if you start with Machete + 5 pots and you get a kill early you will need to buy 1/2 dorans + boots + 2/3 pots to make your early game even stronger. You will notice that when you have these you will snowball harder with lee sin. Because you are the one that got some kills you need to gank alot, so in my opinion its not necesary to build out the junglers item here. After you got the good start early you will go for counter jungling and if you counterjungle as Lee Sin you need to have vision and you need to have wards to jump to, to escape from dangerous moments. That's why the next item will be the . So now you have ++++. This will give you the movement and the strength to dominate the early stage of the game. Now you will get some kills in all the lanes, push the turrets and try to make plays. Dragon will probably a free objective because you dominated the early game.
After these items you will go for and . You buy locket because you are getting into mid/late game now. And in the mid-late game, you will fall off in damage, this means that the skillset you got now will provide your team mates protection. With this you need locket of the iron solari to enforce your team with a good shield.
Mercury's treads, why? Because of the Tenacity, as lee sin you want to complete your insec kick or safeguarding as soon as possible, that's why you don't want to get cc'ed too long.
After these items you will get into mid-late game and you will b the tank of your team, you will do little damage and that's why you go for (if enemy team is AD) or ( if enemy team is more AP)

Situational Items

Ravenous Hydra
This item is for the real lee sin carry, if you are going really hard with lee sin you can build this item after you builded the dorans and the sightstone. This will make you fairly strong and you will be very strong. The danger with this item is that you are pretty squishy, so are a real must with this item.
Last Whisper
If you go for ravenous hydra and it goes well, you can go for Last Whisper, it will give you alot of damage because of the armor penetration.

Skill Order

Flurry
QSonic Wave
WSafeguard
ETempest
RDragon's Rage
Starting in the jungle with Lee Sin. You can start with Q,W or E, in my opinion it depends on the cirumstances. If you are going for the Doran's blade start I recommend you to go Q first and then go for W. Because you will be able to use the spell vamp to smite the second buff and get some health back. After the first 3 levels you will Max your Q to max out your damage output. After Q you go for W to sustain more and upgrade the shield to others at ganks.

Skills

Flurry
After using a spell it will speed your basic attack up for 2 hits and regen your energy within those 2 hits. This gives you faster waveclear and more damage if you do it well. Try to use a spell and then hit 2 times and then re-activate it, and then use the other spell.
Basically -> 2x AA -> reactivate -> 2x AA --> --> 2x AA -> reactivate -> 2x AA etc.

Sonic Wave
Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike
Really strong ability, potential gap closer. This ability does percentage of missing health bonusdamage, so try to reactive it as late as possible. For example, if you want to kill someone with your ult and Q then try to hit your q then kick him and then reactive your q for maximum damage output. -> ->

You max this ability first!
Safeguard
Safeguard / Iron Will
This ability gives you alot of mobility, lifesteal and shields. It's a really good ability to sustain with but also to rescue your fellow teammates or to rescue yourself wardjumping to the other side of the wall when you are counterjungling. Notice: if you reactive this ability it will not only give you Lifesteal but it will also give you spellvamp, so try to reactive before you use your smite on jungle camps, it will give you health back.

You max this after Sonic Wave!
Tempest
Tempest / Cripple
This ability will be able to do aoe damage in a circle around Lee Sin, when reactivated it will slow all the targets which were hit by Tempest also within a certain range around Lee Sin. Use this to slow your enemy when you gank.
Dragon's Rage
Lee sin's ultimate will kick someone away and every target behind it will take similar damage and will get knocked up aswell. Don't underestimate that, if you disengage you really need to try to knock someone up behind the target so you get off as much damage as possible and possibly a moment to engage. You can also do the famous Insec kick, hereby you will Q to the target ward behind it, wardjump and kick someone into the team.

Champion Matchups

Aatrox
Difficulty
Favors You
Also tricky, 1v1 possible to kill but really hard. Later on in teamfights you are better than aatrox because you have more movement and the possibility to kick him away or towards your team if he engages or is trying to escape.
Amumu
Difficulty
Favors You
Easy to play against, you can counter jungle him really hard and is early easy to kill and countergank.
Drmundo
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
In the current meta, mundo is op, also against Lee, you can kill him early on. Try to shut him down early. If you won't be able to shut him down early he will survive all your damage mid-late.
Elise
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
Elise and Lee sin are both good early game junglers and both have a good skillset to escape dangerous situations. I think this matchup is really even. 40/60. Try to not focus elise in teamfights or blow her up at once or she will just E.
Jarvaniv
Difficulty
Favors You
Fair matchup but is in favor of you because you are stronger early and can wreck all of his ganks, also if he engage you can kick him away.
Khazix
Difficulty
Favors You
If Kha'zix snowballs he will be very strong, but you are there to prevent this, you will be able to kill in 1v1 battles, but care of his isolation. If you countergank khazix it will be in your favor.
Olaf
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
Really strong champion at the moment, will outdamage you and will outsustain you in 1v1 battles because of his W. Your gank potention is stronger than his though so try to gank alot if you know he wont be able to countergank.
Rammus
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
Hard to kill, alot of ganks and alot of movement speed. Will outrun you all the time, but if u hit your q you will be able to stop him. I think this is 50/50
Rengar
Difficulty
Favors You
This is tricky, you do counter his invisiblity with your abilities but he is still really strong because of his surprise factor with his ult, it's harder to counter him in the jungle and countergank him.
Udyr
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
This guy fucks u up. You basically just can't kill him 1v1. He will get really tanky and will be unkillable and unchasable for u.
Warwick
Difficulty
Favors You
Early on you can kill him in the jungle but later on you wont be able to kill him anymore, you do counter his ult in teamfights, you can kick him off your adc if he ults.
Zilean
Difficulty
Favors Enemy
ZilOP
You can't win from Zilean jungle, his bombs are just too stronk. If they pick Zilean jungle in champion select just try to dodge your queue, or even better try to convince people to leave.

Early Game

Early game is were Lee Sin shines, you will be very strong with the dorans blades and will be able to 1v1 most champions of the enemy team, try to gank alot and give kills to your friends to get them fed and get them snowballing. Counterganking is also really important. Think objectivewise with Lee Sin, try to get as much global gold as possible and try to deny the enemy jungler of farm. Try to get as many vision of the jungler as possible to prevent deaths in lane by their jungler.

Mid Game

If you get the early game rolling you got a good chance to win the game. But this doesn't mean you will win it 100% of the times.
The mid game is were you really need to convince your teammates to group up early and get objectives and towers to keep the snowballing going, try to place deeper wards in the enemy's jungle and time their buffs and time the dragon. This is because you want to try to take as much power and gold off their hands.

Late Game

If it comes to Late Game it will be hard. Try to make your epic insec play on the adc and you might win the game but if your teammates are not fed and you are not then you are in big troubles, try to not get to late game.

Teamfights

There are 4 situations which in you can occur.

Your team is ahead:

1. Enemy team engages, try to kick the engager into their team to knock them up after that, you Q in and E them all then you back to your backline with W to protect the adc.
2. Your team engages or YOU engage, insec kick the adc to your team or try to instantly nuke someone. If the teamfight escalates try to distract the enemy team to you and wardjump away.

Your team is behind:

3. Enemy team engages, try to kick them away if possible, if not try to protect your backline and use your kick to protect your teammates.
4. Your team engages, insec the adc, this is really important to turn fights.

Stealing dragon/baron

Lee Sin is a really powerfull champion to steal baron and dragon because of his additional Q damage. Try to get the dragon or baron warded and dont show yourself until baron/dragon gets low, hit your Q in and and go when it gets low. If you get it or not, escape with the wardjump. Don't underestimate the power of lee sin in stealing those global objectives.

Conclusion

Lee Sin can be played at every ELO, but the higher you get the harder it will get to dominate the early game. Try to improve and try to understand everything of Lee Sin. But also try to understand other champions, this will give you an advantage because you can be one step ahead of them.

This is my first guide ever made but I do hope it helped you out.
