Introduction

Hey Guys,
here is my first Guide! I hope you like it and it helps you somehow.
Here you will see some cool stuff about Fiora.

My build is all about the damage. Kind of glascannon but you will see that it's fun to play that way.
I hope you enjoy :)

Runes

Why I prefer those Runes?

Well, there are some reasons.
1. You'll get Armor and Magic Resistance
2. You'll get Armor Penetration
3. You're damage will be increased to the max

Also I have some 'more specific' runes.

I go full offensive with my masteries. But of course some Armor and HP /Hp Reg. for the lanephase.

Summoner Sets

My standard
This my standard Set. Flash for engage/escape and Ignite for some extra damage or if you are against someone like Dr. Mundo it will help you against his ult.
Flash & Barrier
Almost the same as my standard set. Apart from Barrier. That will grant you some help against hard enemys. It's the same with Heal.
Ghost & Ignite
Ghost will grant you a nice escape or chasing. And as in my standard, Ignite for the damage and heal reduce.

Item Builds

Starting Build(s)
Your start
4
Alternative start
You might as well go for
5
Or you take this
2
You're start is a standard.
Nothing complex about it. You want to counter your top-lane as much as possible.
So if you are against a AD champ go for Cloth + 5,
against AP? buy Null-Magix Mantle + 2
Against a kind of squishy toplaner you can go for Doran's Blade + 1
and against a Tank Boots + 5
Final Build(s)
Standard Final Items
Most of this is already explained in the Build Order!

In general this build is all about the damages. You can also go more tanky as explained in the other build.
Your damages will be less, but in the end it is almost the same output.

Merc. Treads give you a little bonus on your survivability. With the Tenacity bonus, stuns and almost all kinds of CC will last less.
(Stuns, Taunts, Fears, Silences, Blinds and immobilzes)
You might as well go for Ninja Tabi if you enemy team has not that much CC.
Or even Ionian Boots for your CDs. It's a little damage boost as well.
But in my opinion Mer. Treads are the best.

Black Cleaver will grant you some HP, AD, CDR and Armor Penetration plus its passive which reduced the targets Armor on hit. This gives you a nice boost and tankyness.
It will also trigger with Hydra. With your Ult you may reduce the armor of all of your enemys.
All in one: It's like the item was made for Fiora!

Last Whisper is your 'main damage'. With his 35% armore ignorance all of your autohits, Dashes and Ultimates will cause massive damage. Keep that in mind.

Hydra will help you out very nicely. Your lane will be pushed in no time. The whole enemy team will melt if they stand together and your Ult bursts in. Also with its Lifesteal it will ease your lane. Your lane-presence will rise through this and the pressure on your enemy toplane will also increase.

GA... I don't think i really have to explain it. It gives you magic Resistance and Armor.
Also a 'second life' which will be awesome in teamfights.

BORTK will be very useful when chasing enemys, running away from ganks or simply doing a 1 vs X.
It will also trigger with your ult. So remember that when thinking about going in.

Wards... well... it's almost free. So why not?

Build Order
4
Your start will vary on your opponent. I just took the 'Boots + 5' here. No need to do so always. Look it up at the 'starting items' chapter.

Your order will also vary on how you feel about your lane. Feel like you are stronger than him, but not that strong? Keep it in That order.
Otherwise if you are kind of losing or if you are winning your lane perfectly go for Black cleaver instead of Last whisper. Then you can decide whether you go for Last whisper next or go for Hydra and then Last whisper.

All in one you should vary it your way. No need to do as I do.
Find your style and do as you play best.

Your Skill order

Duelist
QLunge
WRiposte
EBurst of Speed
RBlade Waltz
You skill your W first because of it's beautiful effect. It will be a nice little help when going for a 1v1 at level 1.
One autohit your enemy does will be blocked and reflected. (Does not scale with the damage you would receive.)

After that your gapcloser will be skilled. It's (besides the ult) the second spell dealing any damage. Its scale is some good.

Skills

Duelist
Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.

Your passive gives you your early lane-sustain. By hitting an opponent once after gitting a minion your life regen. will rise and that'll ease your lane.
Keeping it up by farming or hitting minions (or Champions) will rise your lane-presence.
Against non-damage Tanks it's a huge advantage.
Lunge
Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost. Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (+60% attack damage) physical damage.

Fiora can perform the dash a second time within 4 seconds at no mana cost. Cost 60 Mana
Range 600

Your dash is your first gapcloser. It also deals a nice damage. With this dash you can also nicely escape by jumping through a minion wave. Or engage better on the enemy AD Carry.
Riposte
Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Passive: Fiora's Attack Damage is increased by 15/20/25/30/35.

Active: Fiora parries the next basic attack within 1.5 seconds and reflects 60/110/160/210/260 (+100% ability power) magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Cost 45 Mana
Range 20

Your Riposte will give a little suprise effect by reflecting the autohit (as told in the skill order).
The bonus AD you will get is also pretty nice and will help you doing your job: KILLING
Plus! It blocks/reflects skills like Ezreal's Mystic Shot or Gankplank's Parrrley.
BUT On hit effects like Nasus' Siphon Strike (and any ability like this) will be only kind of blocked. The damage of the auto attack will be blocked, but the effect-damage wont be blocked.
Burst of Speed
Fiora temporarily gains additional Attack Speed. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. Fiora gains 60/75/90/105/120% additional Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed by 7/9/11/13/15% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. (Assists reduce the cooldown by half of the base amount.) Cost 55 Mana
Range 500

This nice little ability helps you alot when chasing down enemys. Also your attackspeed is massivly increased which turns out to be perfect with BOTRK.
Important! Burst of Speed will reset your Auto Attacks. So if you are pushing or just engaged, your roation should be: Autohit -> Burst of Speed -> Autohit
Also with your your lane will be cleared in no time.
Blade Waltz
Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal physical damage to enemy champions. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage. Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions 5 times for 160/330/500 (+120% attack damage) physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal 25% damage.

The first and last attack will be against the same target. Each strike applies on-hit effects. Cost 100 Mana
Range 400

Your ult is awesome! It has a massive damage and triggers with 3 of your items.
Black cleaver will reduce the armor and increase like this your damag on the target.

BOTRK will cause additional damage with his passive.

Hydra will cause a nice splash-damage around your enemy. That will damage targets near him you haven't hit with your ult. Like this you can shred the whole enemy team down to 0 HP

Pros and Cons

Pro:
  • If you enjoy jumping into enemies and doing damage it's a nice champion/build for you
  • Want to have fun in general? Fiora has a nice skillset which garantees fun
  • Like playing an assassin? Fiora is the grand master of assassins
  • Your damage ouput is massive
  • It is balanced and like made for the champion

Cons:
  • it's a glascanon build which means you have too be very careful
  • you can easily be countered by things like wardens
  • once you're through your rotation your damage will sink rapidly for quite a long time

Stats per level

Damage 54.5 (+3.2 / per level)
Health 450 (+85 / per level)
Mana 220 (+40 / per level)
Move Speed 325
Armor 15 (+3.5 / per level)
Spell Block 30 (+1.25 / per level)
Health Regen 5.5 (+0.8 / per level)
Mana Regen 6.75 (+0.5 / per level)

Very important if you want to know at what level you can start to destroy your enemy!

Counters

ult on her and she does her bubble it'll interrupt your damage. The animation will still continue (but not if you have oracles)

Darius is not a real counter. More like someone you just don't want to me matched with. His poke makes your life hard but if you know how to play against him, he is not that of a big deal.

Jax' high damage is a thorn in your eyes. His dodge ability will also ruin your damage. Not only your auto hits will be dodged, your Ult will also be useless.

Kayle's range and poke are bad for your good. Keep getting ganks and it should be ok. Otherwise be as defensive as possible.

Malphite is a counter because of his Seismic Shard. With that he can harras like hell and with his Ground Slam he can slow your attackspeed massivly which will lower your damage to the max.

Rammus counters your with his and his massiv taunt.

Talom can cancel your Ult damage like everyone with a stealth (Twitch, Akali....). exept of this he is quite easy for you.

Teemo is actually a counter with his blinding dart. But if you wait until the blind runs out he should run.

Vladimir counters with his pool. But do it like you play against Teemo. Wait until his Sanguine Pool runs out. Then wollow your rotation again.

Fiora counters:

All game long you go full aggro.
Scare and pressure your opponent as much as possible.
It's your job as an assassin to be feared.

Ask for 2-3 Ganks. Kill your enemy top-lane a few times so they'll focus you.
When you reach this point, you must be careful. Put wards up.
As much as possible. You want to be sure none is there if you engage or if you're far away from your tower.

Show your enemies that you're there whenever they want to do anything.
Also maybe try to steal the enemy red buff. (when playing on the blue side)
or stealing the blue buff. (when playing on the purple/red side)

Warding is explained in the 'warding' chapter below.

Your engagement is a simple rotation you should be able to learn pretty quickly.

If you engage: -> -> -> ->

if you are beeing engaged on: -> -> -> ->

Early game

All game long you go full aggressive. When you are both farming, observe your opponent closely. Always have an eye on him.
If he reacts different you can assume that the junbgler is near. Then it's your turn to react. If you feel confident about the situation you can engage the 2v1.
But mostly you should just stay defensive. Try only to lasthit and be near your tower.
After you noticed that his behavior is like before you can be sure it's a 1v1 again.
Scare and pressure your opponent as much as possible.
It's your job as an assassin to be feared.

Ask for 2-3 Ganks. Kill your enemy top-lane a few times so they'll focus you.

Warding is explained in the 'warding' chapter below.

Your engagement is a simple rotation you should be able to learn pretty quickly.

If you engage: -> -> -> ->

If you are beeing engaged on: -> -> -> ->

As you can see it's not that difficult. Keep in mind that your Burst of Speed resets your auto attack!

Mid game

Midgame is almost the same as your early game.
The difference is that you should start at the very last to roam now.

A good Fiora is present on every lane. As told in the chapter before: you are the one feared!

Pressure not only your lane but also your mid-lane or the enemy jungle.
As told in the 'earyl game' chapter, try to steal buffs, take jungle creeps your jungler doesn't need or take creeps from the other jungle.
This will help you even more. Especially if your lane is pushed and you know their jungle should be at your lane.

Again: Winning by warding. You need vision to do what you want and to move free.

If your opponent buys many wards too think about buying Greater Lens or pink wards.
even though everyone can see this ward, it's better to have this one than no ward.

Warding

Those are the essential wards for your lane.
In late you can place them of course at other locations.

But focus on the important locations:
  • River
  • Buffs
  • Jungle entrances
  • Baron and Dragon

In Teamfights

In teamfights you have to set priorities.
The 'normal' priotity-list is:
  • ADC
  • Mid lane
  • Support
  • Top lane
  • Jungler

But you need to tell apart whether it's worth to focus (for example) their ADC if their Jungler is a 'fed beast'.
Communicate with your team. Find your own priority-list and follow it.
A good focus is one key for a win.

And let's simplify it:
If a champion is fed = focus him!
If a champion is already low HP and it's worth focusing him now = focus him!
A tank is low HP while a fed one is bursting in your team = don't ever focus the tank! Go for the damage dealers!
