Introduction

Sup guys,
I mean, hello community and welcome to my Fiora guide.
In the following chapters you will learn a bit about Fiora and her huge opportunities.
With my build she'll be a glascanon. But not the kind of glascanon that can't do $h!t. I mean the kind who can carry a whole team by melting the enemys HP bar!
So first of all, let's look at the spells to get a first impression.

Stats per level

Damage 54.5 (+3.2 / per level)
Health 450 (+85 / per level)
Mana 220 (+40 / per level)
Move Speed 325
Armor 15 (+3.5 / per level)

Health Regen 5.5 (+0.8 / per level)
Mana Regen 6.75 (+0.5 / per level)

Very important if you want to know at what level you can start to destroy your enemy!

Spells

Duelist (Passive)

Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.

Your passive is your lane-sustain. So if you're not full HP, hit a minion to regenerate your life.
In Teamfights it's a strong "life-saving"-ability.Your reg. and your lifesteal will allow you to stay in the middle of the fight. The whole time.

Lunge

Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost. Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (+60% attack damage) physical damage.

Fiora can perform the dash a second time within 4 seconds at no mana cost. Cost 60 Mana
Range 600


This is the important part of you harrassment. Also it can be used to gank or to avoid gank.

Riposte
Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Passive: Fiora's Attack Damage is increased by 15/20/25/30/35.

Active: Fiora parries the next basic attack within 1.5 seconds and reflects 60/110/160/210/260 (+100% ability power) magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Cost 45 Mana
Range 20


This is your "suprise-attack" by activating it when an enemy hits you. It also blocks abilitys like Ezreal's Mystic shot or Gankplanks Parley

Burst of Speed

Fiora temporarily gains additional Attack Speed. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. Fiora gains 60/75/90/105/120% additional Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed by 7/9/11/13/15% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. (Assists reduce the cooldown by half of the base amount.) Cost 55 Mana
Range 500


Your E is a huge attack speed boost. It allows you to farm big minionwaves in a few seconds. And it grants you a nice movementspeedbuff. That allows you to chase enemys down or escape a gank of the opposite champion.

Blade Waltz

Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal physical damage to enemy champions. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage. Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions 5 times for 160/330/500 (+120% attack damage) physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal 25% damage.

The first and last attack will be against the same target. Each strike applies on-hit effects. Cost 100 Mana
Range 400


Your ult is a big damage-ability. It allows you to get a double kill when the opposite champ gets a gank. And if your towerdived you can use it to avoid any damage that might kill you otherwise. ( Look the video below)

THE ULTIMATE BURST RUNES!

This is my choice of runes.

They are as simple as clever.

9 Greater Mark of Penetration(1.28 pen.)
For the additional damage,

9 Greater Seal of Armor(1.41 armor)
For a bit more defense in your early game against hard AD champions.

9 Greater Glyph of Magic Resist(1.34 magic resi.)
For more defense against AP champions.

Optional

If your have many runepages and really want to master Fiora, you can also bring these.

Instead of Magic resistance i brought some CDR runes.
Those lower your cooldowns on your Riposte which is pretty good against AD's. Therefore i would use them ONLY against hard AD's.

Against AP's I'd rather bring these:

Instead of Armor i got Greater Seal of Caling Health(1.08 hp per level/ 19.44 hp at level 18).
And as Glyphs i take Greater Glyph of Magic Resist(1.34 magic res.)

I guess your focus should be at your sustain which is granted with the extra Hp and resitance.

Summoner Spells


Cooldown: 265
Teleports your Champion to target nearby location under your mouse cursor. 400 Range.


I just choose flash for the "suprising" effect
(just have a look at my video and you see what i mean)


Cooldown: 180
Ignite is a damage over time spell that targets a single champion dealing 50 true damage plus 20 true damage per level over 5 seconds. This damage is not lowered by armor or magic resistance. Also reduces the target's healing and regeneration by 50%. 600 Range.


Ignite was choosen because of its damage and the bonus AD you get while it's on cd.


Cooldown: 210
Reduces a target's Attack Damage by 70%, Ability/Item damage by 35% and slows its Movement Speed by 40% for 2.5 seconds. 550 Range (estimate).


You can also bring exhaust with you.It reduces the damage of the enemie.And slows the enemie which makes your chasing a lot easier.


Cooldown: 270
Restores 140 + 25 x level Health to your Champion and and 50% of that to nearby allies. 600 Range. All targets healed by this will have a 50% reduction on all heals for around 20 secs.


Heal is a good summoner spell, i don't like it but if you want you can bring it "on top" too.
It may save your butt.

I think:
With that equipment in this guide you should just take Flash and ignite. It grants you more damage and another way to get away from ganks or to initiate a fight. And you get a "suprising"-effect if you use your flash. ( look at the video below)

Mastery

These are my masteries.

Here I'm going full AD and penetration. I put 4 points in 'Sorcery' to get the extra CDR.

I also put 3 points in 'Perseverance' for more lane-sustain in the early game.

And the last 4 points go to the Utility-tree. There i put 1 point in 'Summoner's Insight' and 3 in 'Meditation' for extra CDR on Flash and bonus manaregeneration.

If you really want to buy Elixir of Fortitude.(life+AD)
if you have gold for another one you should buy Elixir of Agility.

About the build

Normal:

The normal build is only for the burst. Early damage and late AE damage.
Like this you have to pay attention about your position and your focus.


Ranked:

The ranked build is meant to be full of sustain and damage possibilitys.
Your have much more life and resistance with this build.
And the little CC you gain with that, allows you to be more usefull for your team.
(Frozen mallet slows with your Blade waltz (ult).)


My opinion:

I prefer the normal build, BUT if you really want to win or carry the game you need to buy the ranked build.

Counters

Akali counters you because of her little bubble.If you do ur ult on her and she does her bubble ,it'll interrupt your ult. (but not if you have oracles)

Darius CAN counter you, but he isn't a real counter.He is able to harrass more than you so he could dominate top-lane.

Yep.Fiora is her own counter.Why?Well, if Fiora (A) does her ult on Fiora (B) and Fiora (B) does her W, Fioras(A) ult won't cause any damage.

If Jax uses his dodge-ability you cause 0 damage.(Your ult too)

Kayle counters you with her incredible damage and her range + her AE skill and her slow

He is a counter because of his seismic shard. With that he can harras like hell and with his ground slam he can slow your attackspeed massivly

Counters your with that "thornmail"-ability and his massiv taunt.

Counters with his ult. He turns invisible and that interrupts your ult(not if you have oralces)

Teemo is actually a counter with his blinding dart. But if you wait until the blind is over he is f**ked.

Counters with his pool.But you should dominate. (pool interrupts your ult)But after that it's your kill ;)

Fiora counters:

You are the best kind of counter to Ezreal. Once he is in your range, he wont get away. Simply with your is escaping impossible for Ezreal. Also with your Riposte you can block Ezreal's Mystic shot.

You ask why Fiora counters Gankplank? Let me tell you why. Just because of your Riposte. That's all. But you can avoid much harrass that way. Of course you can also counter him with your Ult when you cast it while he has his Ult up.

In general

You are a counter against all AD Carrys.
When is say all i mean ALL.
Doesn't matter how fed or unbalanced he is.
Your Riposte makes it all possible!

Early game

EXPLANATION

In the whole game I play aggressive, because Fiora has a huge DPS-output.
If the enemy wants to fight they a Riposte in the face and get the full rotation.

Rotation:

First start with yourLunge then burst of speed, next take the reposte, wait if the enemy flashs away, then use again.If you are already level 6, use your ult.If you haven't reached level 6, autohit and wait for thecooldown and restart the rotation

note

Don't push your lane too early. If you dominate your toplaner, dn't push the tower.You don't want your farm to disappear. If he is dominating you you should ask your jungle for a gank. Kill him and push down the lane. You can roam and get your championfarm.
And remember: 2 assists are1 kill. so there's no need to cry because of KS.

Mid game

In midgame you can use the same rotation like in the early, but maybe against 2 enemys. With your Ravenous it shouldn't be a problem.

In Teamfights

priority
  • focus the carry ( Dash on her with Lunge and use your ult. If there is a need to autohit her/him)
  • focus the support ( After killing the Carry, have a look at the support and burst her/him down.)
  • focus AP ( After focusing the support , focus on the AP. Most of the time the Ap is already dead, but if he/she isn't... kill her/him!)
  • focus Jungler ( Almost every time when i played Fiora like that Jungle was already dead. )
  • chase the tank if he isn't dead ( most of the time he IS dead. But not if he is Singed or Mundo. )

If the enemy Carry is instant dead you should just spam your ult on the AP.

Gameplay video


Just a bit. Not a real gameplay, but you see how it rolls with Fiora. I know it's nit the best Ezreal but you see how you can dodge the enemy damage.

Supports you counter

This is only a little warning.
You can counter ourown support.

Example: 1


If Shen casts his ult on you and you use your ult, your ult will interrupt Shen's.

Shen's ult :on Cooldown,
Your buffs : You don't have a bubble.
Locations : Shen's position hasn't changed.


Example: 2


If you use your ult and Soraka uses hers, you will get no heal.
result:

Soraka : Ult is on cooldown
You : You get no heal.
Following: you might get killed because of this.


Reactions:


Probably your support will flame. You set an important spell on cooldown. That might be a reason to lose a teamfight.
