Champion Matchups

Introduction

My facebook : https://www.facebook.com/Shyvurne

This guide will be a double guide, because I really think you can adapt trundle playstyle with your enemies composition. This will be mostly based on the enemy jungler.
I will make a guide against Madred Junglers and a guide vs Spirit Stone Junglers.
The idea is to follow the same transition as the opponent jungler in terms of items and utility they can provide. Also clear speed and tankyness.

PROS AND CONS

Pros

- Strong counterjungler.
- Good mobility.
- Tanky with passive, W and ulti in a teamfight.
- Good buffs control
- His pillars can turn a teamfight.
- Strong debuffs : tanks and ads.
- Can litterally build anything

Cons

- Only one cc on a high cooldown.
- Can be kited hard.
- Single target damage (and only 2 skills).
- Very situationnal in a team.
- Mana hungry.
- Considered trolling in solo q

About me

My name is AHTEmbraz and I have been maining junglers as long as I can remenber !

I got two diamond accounts S2:

And one diamond account S3 :

Trundle is a really fun jungler, mostly underated because his ganks are not known for being strong enough early game and he is totally melee dependent.
He isn't well received in solo Q so I didn't played him as much as I would want.

But I like him cause he is aggressive AND HE BEATS PEOPLE !

I think with the jungle changes of S3 he is strong vs most picks like lee sin/amumu. You can rape lee sin 1vs1 and your pillar is a good way to stop the enemy team to follow up on amumu's ulti.

Masteries

AGAINST MADREDS JUNGLERS

I use these masteries against madred junglers because you will also take madred, so you will benefit from the bonus armor. The cooldown reduction in the offensive tree will enable you to spam more your Q and then have more chances to proc madred.

AGAINST Spirit Stone JUNGLERS

I use these masteries Spirit Stone junglers to be equaly tanky as them in teamfights and having the same transition in items. Being more tanky will also makes your jungle safer because you will lose the sustain you would have with madred. Your primary goal will be to be tanky before doing damage in a teamfight.

Runes

AGAINST MADRED JUNGLERS

I will use these runes in most situations but mostly against madred junglers to counter a little bit the bonus armor they will gain with it.
You need the armor penetration because you will gain damage with your Q. You don't need attack speed runes because your W will give you enough.
Attack damage runes because trundle has a decent scaling on his Q.
It will give trundle a good early and mid game in terms of jungle clear and damage for ganking.

AGAINST Spirit Stone JUNGLERS

Enemy junglers with spirit stone won't have bonus armor early game like junglers with madred. So you need less armor penetration but more damage. Your jungle clear will be slightly slower but your spirit stone will correct this flow.

WHY I USE CDR GLYPHS :

I really think trundle needs this cdr runes for spaming more often his abilities. An extra pillar, an extra Q, an extra W can really turn a teamfight in trundle's favour. Trundle's ulti will replace the missing magic resist you won't have.

Summoner Spells

AGAINST WRIGGLES JUNGLERS

Those summoners are excelent for :

- Safe counterjungling

- To go over walls

- To steal Baron or dragon

- To catch an enemy

AGAINST Spirit Stone JUNGLERS

Remenber that exhaust decrease armor and magic resist by 10

Those summoners are excelent for :

- Stronger ganks

- To protect your carry from enemy in tf

- To debuffs even more your target (combined with ulti and Q)

Trundle base stats

Health 455 (+96) : One of the highest base hp, combined with his passive he will be safe in his early jungle.

Lvl 18 Health 2087 : One of the highest lvl18 hp, so it's good vs magical damage.

Attack damage 54.66 (+3) : Medium base attack damage, one of the lowest lvl18 ad. This issue is solved with the bonus ad trundle will gain with his Q.

Health regen. 8.0 (+0.85) : One of the highest base and late game health regen, combined with his passive and wriggles trundle will sustain like crazy in his jungle.

Attack speed 0.672 (+2.9%) : One of the highest base and late game attack speed, combined with his W trundle isn't dependent on attack speed items.

Mana 206 (+45) : Decent mana pool but it will be dry in no time if trundle spam Q too much.

Armor 19 (+2.7) : One of the highest base armor so trundle early jungle will be easy to tank.

Lvl 18 Armor 64.9 : One of the lowest late game armor. Trundle need armor items late game for surviving teamfights.

Magic res. 30 (+1.25) : Trundle benefits from the magic resist/lvl something some bruisers still lack.

Mov. speed 325: One of the highest base movement speed. Combined with his W trundle will move between camps like crazy.

In more details if we look at the 30 most popular junglers/bruisers and all their general stats :
(red is higher stats and yellow is worst ones)

If we add each lines of all those stats and we divide them by 30 (number of champions) we obtain the average value of the general stat. Then we can compare it with Trundle's stats :

If we do that for each of the champions we can see that Trundle is in the top 5 of bruisers/junglers :

Skills

Passive: King's Tribute
King's Tribute
Whenever an enemy unit near Trundle dies, he heals for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6% of their maximum health.
Range: 1000

Explanation:

This passive is mostly noticable after killing buffs, dragon, nashor and champions. It"s one of the reason you sustain in the jungle so well.
Note : If you are about to die (ignite or something) or while figthing, try to smite a minion/neutral monster around you to trigger your passive and maybe survive !
- THIS HEAL IS INCREASED WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR

Q: Chomp
Chomp
ACTIVE: Trundle enhances his next basic attack, dealing physical damage equal to a base amount plus a percentage of his attack damage and slowing its target by 75% for 0.1 seconds.
This attack increases Trundle's attack damage for 8 seconds, with his opponent losing half of this amount for the same duration.
PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+ 100 / 105 / 110 / 115 / 120% AD)
ATTACK DAMAGE BONUS: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40
Cooldown: 4 seconds

Explanation:

Your main source of damage. This skill is the reason you are jungling so fast. It add damage to your next autoattacks AND debuffs enemies/minions AD. So monsters in the jungle will do less damage to them and you will gain a lot of ad damage to clear the jungle.
This is why trundle is exelent against wriggles junglers like lee sin. You will steal his ad so his autoattacks and skills will do less damage to you while you gain more ad out of it.

Note : - Rabid Bite resets Trundle's attack timer on cast
- Rabid Bite moves Trundle slightly closer to the target upon attack, so it's a great chasing tool
- Rabit bite apply on hit effect such as wriggles and phage.

W: Frozen Kingdom
Frozen Kingdom
ACTIVE: Trundle coats a target 1000-radius location with ice for 8 seconds, gaining bonus movement speed, attack speed, and increased healing and regeneration from all sources while he is on it.
MOVEMENT SPEED: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
ATTACK SPEED: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80%
HEALING AND REGENERATION INCREASE: 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20%
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Explanation:

This skill is really really good, it gives 3 huge stats to trundle in a really large area (it's the biggest aoe spell in the game). And his scaling is really good. But you must stay in the area !

E: Pillar of Ice
Pillar of Ice
ACTIVE: Trundle creates an icy pillar at a target location for 6 seconds, creating impassable terrain and slowing all enemy units around the pillar. Enemies caught in the center of the eruption are briefly knocked back.
Cooldown: 23 / 20 / 17 / 14 / 11 seconds
SLOW: 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45%

Explanation:

It's your main skill to control teamfights, it has 3 purposes :
- Block an entry or block an area of the teamfight
- Slow people around it
- To interupt channeled skills thanks to the knock back

Lvling it will increase the slow and will reduce the cooldown of this ability.

Note : - Pillar of Filth reveals fog of war in the area. So you can scout brushes with it.
- If cast directly onto a champion (enemy, friendly and Trundle himself) it will push them slightly to the side, but will not interrupt channelling.
- Pillar actually does 1 true damage to people in the area so towers will aggro you.
- The pillar blocks movement within 62.5 range, slows enemies within 187.5 range, and provides vision within 600 range.

R: Agony
Agony
ACTIVE: Trundle drains a percentage of an enemy champion's health as magic damage and 40% of their armor and magic resist, half immediately and half over 4 seconds. The armor and magic resist bonus/reduction lasts for 4 after it has been fully applied.
Cooldown: 80 / 70 / 60 seconds
INITIAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 10 / 11 / 12% (+ 1% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health
TOTAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 20 / 22 / 24% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health

Explanation:

This skill is mostly misunderstood by most people. It works in two stages :
- First, it takes instantly 10 / 11 / 12% health and 20% of magic resist and armor to the target.
- Second, during the duration of 4sec it will take the double of the initial stats stolen.

Trundle also gains the stolen stats for himself. He gain health and armor and magic resist of the target over time !

This skill must be used differently depending on what your goal is in the teamfight :
- Either you want your team to burst the enemy carry, so you ulti him to make him weaker so he will die faster. (but you will lose some survability if your target dies too fast)
- Or you want your team to defend themselves against the enemy tank/bruisers who is deep in your team. You will make him easier to kill and you will also increase your survability in the teamfight because the bruiser/tank you targeted will most likely survive during the 6sec your ultimate is on him. So you will gain more health back.

Most of the time ulti the tankiest guy in the enemy team.

Skill Order

AGAINST WRIGGLES JUNGLERS

> > >

Will increase you jungle speed and more wriggles procs as well as more damage ouput and mobility.

AGAINST Spirit Stone JUNGLERS

> > >

Will increase your utility in teamfight because maxing E second will increase the slow and reduce the cooldown of the skill.

In most situation it's more interesting to lvl up second because it will increase your movement and tanking in teamfights. But in some cases like against or who are totally melee dependant you will prefer maxing second for more kiting them harder.

Only issue is : lvling do not reduce the cooldown of the skill.

SOME MATHS

IN PROGRESS

Item Builds

AGAINST WRIGGLES JUNGLERS

HOW TO START

You will have to choose between or . It depends how well you want to jungle early and if you want to pressure your lanes and/or counterjungle.
For being agressive in ganks or counterjungle you can choose and save some money on pots.
If you are not sure take for more farm and ganks before going back to base.

But 95% of the time take [imgsmall=items/health-potion5.png" class='guide-item tooltip small' data-tooltip='items/health-potion2.png" class='guide-item tooltip' data-tooltip='items/long-sword.png [imgsmall=items/health-potion2'> and save some money on pots.
If you are not sure take for more farm and ganks before going back to base.

But 95% of the time take [imgsmall=items/health-potion'>

THE FOLLOWUP BUILD

At your first back you should have / OR / depending on what you bought first. Then get some . (you don't need to take potions cause you will sustain enough in your jungle thanks to ).

as soon as possible get

If you are ahead you can go for the boots (/), if you are behind you should go for .

Get a for the hp/ad and extra sustain.

AFTER THE /CORE

If you are behind go for the or to be the big tank or tankier and support your team.

If you are ahead go for or to gain damage output and tankyness or if your team can really benefit for it.

Then you can finish your or to bring more cc in teamfight and survability.

Since you gain damage with your Q. The build and should provide trundle all the damage output he needs.

is a really really good item on trundle but shouldn't be bought before having enough tanky or support items first. It's a selfish item but it's godlike on trundle because he will gain tanky stats, cd reduction for his abilities and will increase his passive, W and ulties' heals. Definitely core !

Then if the enemy team is mostly based on physical damage take or if enemy team is based on magic damage take .

AGAINST Spirit Stone JUNGLERS

The build path is a little different compared to the first one but is based on the same ideas.

FIRST you will always start .

Not having madred will decrease your dragon pressure, you won't be able to do it as fast as with wriggles but neither does the other jungler !

is in this build because it will increase your tankyness and utility in teamfights to do more pillars and Q's. In opposition to who will only increase your tankyness and cc in teamfights. This is important to see the difference.

OTHER ITEMS

I like the new oracle, if you lose it you don't care because it would had end anyway and you gain way more gold without farming so it's not horrible to lose it in a fight if you bought it.
This item is perfect for trundle, works very well with his q and give him more mobility.
It can be decent on him but don't provide any utility for your team.
Trundle might have some late game damage issues so this item can really help him a lot because his only reliant source of damage is his Q.
Great item on trundle that can make him very scary.
: Really bad on him.
Great support and survability item for trundle. Only problem is, you don't benefit from the lifesteal of this item.
It's a decent item on trundle because you can apply most of the effects in a single autoattack + Q combo. Combined with your ulti you can really kill anyone really fast.
It can be viable but it's really situational and I would prioritize items like hexdrinker if you need some defense against magic damage.
: Great item on trundle which gives him the aoe cc he need.
: This item can be bought by trundle and will ensure a lot of damage all game long so he can go full tank after this item.
: viable on trundle, it gives him cc and incredible survability with his Q/passive/ulti.

ROUTES

Standard blue route :

Red route lvl 4 route to avoid to be counterjungled or doing the same path as the other jungler : Use smite early at red so it's available again for blue.

"I took their blue while they started red" route (secure your own blue ASAP so they don't take it)" :

"Give me a good red pull so I can steal their blue fast" route
[http://i.imgur.com/8xbv2.jpg]

"Give me a good pull at red I will contest theirs" : use smite early at your red so it will be available again when you will be at theirs.

If you try to counterjungle use your pillar to have vision inside the bush of the buff :

(Song : Scars On Broadway - This Way)

GANKING

When you gank try to get in melee range of your opponent with your W and wait for them to flash for using your pillar and secure the kill :

(Song : New Found Glory - Your biggest mistake)

Or sometimes you have no choice but making them use flash before they get in range to the tower :

(Song : Freestylers - Painkiller)

Try to use your pillar to make your opponen fight you in your W where you are the strongest when ganking :

(Song : Weezer - Automatic)

Trundle is one of the best 1vs1 and can dive easily people thanks to his ulti and passive that makes him really tanky :

(Song : Disturbed - Deify)

TEAMFIGHTS

Trundle is exceptional at killing tanks or bruisers in the front line, since trundle don't have gap closer his best bet is to kill the front line since he can ulti them and make them weak :

(Song : Android Porn - Kraddy)

While you are hitting the front line, try to isolate the rest of the enemy team so your team can focus him while the enemy team can't help him :

(Song : Billy Talent - This is how it goes)

Your pillar can also help your teamates using their abilities correctly for better engage or aoe damage :

(Song : Skrillex - Scary Monsters and nice spirit)

Matchups

In this section I want to explain if you can or can't counter jungle/fight the other junglers and what you should focus on (gank/jungle/control) and the route you can adopt.
The path to take is also added (against wriggles junglers or spirit stone junglers path) and if you need to max W first or E second.

Path against spirit stone , max E second.
#1 counters to rammus Rammus gain bonus ad with your W and passive ? Guess what I take your ad with my Q. Rammus press E for taunting me ? Guess what my W reduce your taunt. Rammus press W to gain armor and magic resist ? Guess what my ulti remove them and give them to me. You want to roll to my team to slow them ? Guess what I block you with a pillar.
Route : wraiths/your red(smite early)/your blue/his red

Difficulty: Easy

Path against spirit stone, max E second.
Ali jungle's main strength is in his ganks, your job is to control his ganks as much as possible. You can start boots against ali and counter his ganks. Your pillar can cut him from his team when he tries to engage your carries.
Route : wolves/your blue(keep smite)/his red.

Difficulty: Easy

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Trundle is a really good olaf counter early game because your W will reduce his only cc and your Q will take away his ad so will decrease his main damage output : his axe.
Once he is 6 you won't control him but you will still survive him.
Route : wolves/your blue/wraiths/wolves/your red/wraiths.

Difficulty: Medium-Easy.

Path against spirit stone junglers
Skarner's red is his weak point , despite his shield he is weak early 2-3 lvls against you. Your faster at taking buffs so you might want to take advantage of that. Once he is 4-5 you need to be careful he will outdamage and be more tanky. Your W will counters his only early cc really easily and your slow will allow you to trap him easy. In teamfight be careful of him ulting you before using yours you can die pretty fast.
Route : Wraitsh/your red(smite early)/your blue/his red.

Difficulty: Medium.

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Trundle is one of the best junglers against lee sin. In a direct 1vs1 trundle will win because he will steal lee sin's ad and trundle's W will reduce lee sin only early cc. Moreover lee sin is pretty weak once you are 6. Fight him all day.
Route : Wraiths/ your Red(keep smite)/his blue.

Difficulty: Medium-Easy

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
There is nothing he can do against you 1vs1 unless you or someone is under 50% to trigger his e. But his damage aren't enough to kill you. His jungle speed is really slow and his cc before 6 non existent. Counterjungle him hard.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/your blue/his red.

Difficulty:Easy

Very easy to steal red against, because usually he tries to take wraiths and gets to blue a little after it spawns and does wolves right after which means you can kill the red easily and gank. His ganks are very strong early on with his knock up and snare, he doesn't even need red. Counter jungle him all day he can't outdamage you or cc you with your W. Your ulti makes him weak in teamfights and counters his.
Route : Wolves/your blue(keep smite)/his red.

Difficulty: Easy

Path against spirit stone junglers, max E second.
Mundo has free transition and insane jungle clears. If you meet him don't try to fight him unless you have a really nice avantage over him. He also has exhaust so be careful. Late game he will take a lot of hp so your ulti isn't gonna do much against him. He won't kill you and you won't kill him just try to jungle and countergank.
Route : Wolves/your blue/wraiths/wolves/your red/wraiths.

Difficulty: Hard

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Shaco is a great ganker but you can counter gank him really hard. If you walk into a boxes trap you will lose the fight but in a direct 1vs1 even if he has exhaust you will have the upper hand. He is way too squishy to handle you. If he puts a boxes just smite it and your passive will trigger. Your Q will take away most of his damage. Try to ulti him before he use his ulti so you can know which is the right one.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/wolves/wraiths/your blue.

Difficulty: Medium.

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
First nocturne clear can be slow, so you can be agressive early game before he take red. He can shield your Q so you shouldn't try to fight him 1vs1. And with his q he can be as fast as you. I don't recomend fighting him 1vs1. In teamfight once he ulties on your carries try to cut him off from his team with your pillar.
Route : wolves/your blue/wraiths/wolves/your red/wraiths.

Difficulty: Hard

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Gangplank is a single target damage dealer so his jungle is slow so you can contest his buffs easily.
In a 1vs1 situation he will have low cc and will have a hard time escaping you. You will counter most of his damage with your Q and he can cleanse your E but it will still apply right after. Fight him all day.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/your blue/his red.

Difficulty: Easy

Path against spirit stone junglers, max W second.
Malphite clear is pretty fast so it's hard to counter him but he can't fight you anyway. His Q slow is kinda bad so it will bad for him to kite you. And since you don't rely that much in attack speed his E will be worthless against you. Your ulti makes you tankier and him weaker. Your pillar can counter his engage to cut him off from his team.
Route : Wolves/your blue/wraiths/wolves/your red/wraiths.

Difficulty: Medium

Path against wriggles junglers, max E second.
He has a slow jungle and mainly relies on ganking which makes counterjungling him easy. But he got a good gap closer witch can make him escape your pillar. He got a decent slow/shield too that you can negate with your W. But your ulti will crush him in teamfights because he will be in the middle of your team.
Route : Wolves/your blue(keep smite)/his red.

Difficulty: Easy

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Riven can start anywhere she wants that's the main problem. She is hard to counterjungle and really mobile in her own jungle. She can kite you easy if you don't time your E properly. She won't win 1vs1 because you will steal her ad and your ulti will make her so weak in teamfights.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/wolves/wraiths/your blue.

Difficulty: Medium-Easy.

Path against spirit stone junglers, max W second.
Easy steal and counterjungle, you can camp his red after you take it or gank. You gotta beat him early on or else his lategame will be dangerously strong due to his cc the aoe that will follow from his team. Your pillar can be a good way to counter his engage and your ulti will make him weak if your team turn back on him. He got no hard cc to catch while you roaming in his jungle.
Route : Wolves/your blue(keep smite)/his red.

Difficulty: Medium-Easy

Path against spirit stone junglers, max W second.
Slow jungler. He can't fight you but his cc can enable his allies to get to you fast. His tanky shield can negate most of your damage so you should be careful when you decide to invade. Your ulti will counter him a lot in teamfights and your pillar can protect your carries from his engage.
Route : Wolves/your blue(keep smite)/his red.

Difficulty: Easy

Path against spirit stone junglers, max W second.
Like gankplank shen is a single target damage dealer, so his jungle will be weaker. He can't kill you 1vs1. But his lvl6 pressure is way better than yours. He will most likely start red so he will be hard to counterjungle. He can pass through your E with his dash and his shield can negate most of your damage. Counter gank him and counterjungle him without fighting him directly.
Route : Wraiths/your red(keep smite)/his blue.

Difficulty: Medium-hard.

Path against wriggles junglers, max W second.
Jax vs trundle is a really weird matchup, it can go both ways in a 1vs1 situation. Jax E will counter your Q, your W will counter his stun, and your ulti will counter his ulti.
Even if he takes wriggles and you too, most of his damage will be magical so it can be hard for you to survive too long fights against him.
My advice is to avoid him in direct confrontation and just try to take some of his small camps and countergank him.
Route : Wolves/your blue/wraiths/wolves/your red.

Difficulty: Hard

Path against spirit stone junglers, max E second.
His jungle clear is better than yours. He got a harder cc than you and can kill you if you stick around too much. Even if the duration of his stun is reduced by your W he will still be as fast as you and can do a lot of damage to you. I don't recommend counterjungling but more counterganking. At 6 though you will be able to fight him better because he doesn't have an ulti.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/Wolves/wraiths/your blue.

Difficulty: Hard

Path against spirit stone junglers, max E.
Nunu won't kill you and you won't kill him, both of your slows are equivalent and your movement speed are alike. Really even matchup. You jungle faster than him execept the first 3 lvls. Start red for avoid an early counterjungle. Only issues is your pillard won't interupt his ulti.
Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/Wolves/wraiths/your blue.

Difficulty: Medium-Easy.

Path against wriggles junglers, max W.
Shyvana is one of the toughest matchup for trundle, she got a really fast clear and is a godlike counter jungler. She does a huge magical damage burst and her mobility is hard to counter. You shouldn't fight her or trying to counterjungler her because she will be better than you at that.
Your ulti is a great counter to hers because she will gain armor and magic resist that you can drain.
Route : Route : Wraiths/your red(smite early)/Wolves/wraiths/your blue.

Trundle is an underated champions that still have his place in the jungle , you just need to adjust to the current strongest junglers to make him viable.

Give me some feed back and don't forget to press /laugh in game for better chances of winning !

Hello AHTEmbraz, I've used your Trundle guide for as long as I've played him, and that's been a VERY long time. However, one thing that always seemed weird was that you suggest CDR blues. I just don't see it. While I love CDR on Trundle, I generally build CDR items with him. Spirit Visage/Iceborn. So while the CDR you have is nice for early game, late game they are ruined when you're going over 40%. This is why I run scaling MR runes. They are better late game and don't "fall off".

On to your item build. I followed it pretty strictly, but decided that I wanted to experiment and test some things out on my own. What I find, in my opinion, to be a far superior build is as follows.

Spirit Of The Elder Lizard.

Merc Treads

Blade Of The Ruined King

IceBorn Gauntlet

Spirit Visage

???(I usually build a QQS/Mercirucal Scimitar)

???(Warmogs)

Usually my games don't last long enough for me to get into the question marks.

I start with my hunters machete and pots, get this into a spirit stone, and buy my boots of speed, and my cutlass. After these items, I get my boots into mercs, my spirit into Lizard Elder, and my cutlass into a Bork, though sometimes I'll buy the Glacial Shroud if I need the armor.

After I get my Bork I finish the Iceborn and then get my Spirit Visage.

I upgrade my boots to the red one so that when I hit someone I gain speed, and since I have a Bork, and my kit, they can not run away.

That is a list of my recent matches....pretty good, no?

Hi AHTEmbraz

I was fun of trundle even before this update and this guide helped me alot so thx. I have one question: In this days almost everyone jungler go for spirit stone item (especialy blue fist), even champs like j4 that is included as wrigles junglers. So should i play agains them as against wrigles or spirit stone junglers.

It seams like wrigles junglers are almost all bruisers junglers and spirit stone are full tank guys so "against wrigles junglers" is against Bruiser type or against guys who use wrigles.

Thx for your time.

@ Cronowulf : I have never been a big fan of hydra, I don't use it but it can be good on trundle I agree, especially since trundle lacks aoe damage. But BOTRK is just too good in almost any kind of situations if you want to take one offensive item on trundle, take botrk or frozen mallet. I think those two items are best set for him. But again your style is viable and if you can manage to make it work so do it !

@ FeedMyGreed : I will update it asap, I still try new things on trundle.

@ whiplash : I got already like 5 guides on this site ! And I'm working on a counterjungle guide and a Vi guide (almost finished)

But I need to update the trundle and udyr guide first !

Best guide I've ever seen. So much effort put in. I hope you make more guides!

you should update your pillar, it actually cancels teleport, shen ult, porting back, etc etc

So I've been playing trundle a couple of games going spirit stone, boots of speed and directly to a ravenous hydra and I've been having so much fun with it. I usually follow it up with boots of mobility, 1 or 2 defensive items based on enemy strengths and throw in a BOTRK near then end. If you got a little time to try it out I'd love to get your thoughts on it. Team comp needs at least a tanky bruiser in addition to you but that hydra on Trundle along with spamming q's seems really strong.

@ andrer_PT : Haven't updated completely and test everything on the new trundle yet. But you are right you can build more damage on him since he got another source of tanking thanks to his W now. Bortk is a great item on trundle but it's kinda expensive, black cleaver, frozen fist, frozen mallet, zeke can be bought on trundle as tank and damage items as well as supporting ones. So I would prefer doing a little bit less damage but being more usefull.

Solari is a very situational item that isn't a must have on junglers imo, it's more for the support. I prefer taking zeke cause it gives more cdr and works the same way if you think about it. More ad and lifesteal for everyone it's almost like a shield no ?? Solari is "i'm behind item" cause it gives really nice stats for yourself but not the team except the shield.

hi AHTEmbraz

im playing a lot of trundle now again, and i feel( and i hear from others too) that u can (and should) build some more damage on him now. I think that he kinda fails as a "full" tank.

Dont you think that an item like BotRk should be included now in every build? since you will be attacking tanks a lot, its pretty much a necessary item for him.

Another thing i miss here. LOCKET! where is it? is it ur personal choice? i see like almost every jungler getting this and i dont know why i wouldnt buy that on trundle.
