Champion Matchups

Introduction

Hi I am Krostine(also in game), and I am a 2k ADC that plays tons of rage queue... what? oh... I meant solo queue.
Anyways, this is a new foundation of Ranged DPS I have REALLY come to like over the S3 changes(which have been for only 2 days but that's just how I roll).

The new items seems really strong and many people have still been using the usual Early game, transitioning into .

I feel this guide will only be mainly towards players who already have the gist of the AD Carry role, and venture into some new builds, while keeping the same style, to seek unknown stronkness.

Masteries & Summoners

I feel the masteries are what you would(sort of) expect, I still think it's best to run the bonus armor, while of course, the 21 Offense.

I still run the Flash and Ghost masteries because the ghost is a no brainer for that bonus MS, and the flash CD is still viable IMO. You'll be running your Tier 3 Boots as well, making the end result of your Summoner cooldowns shown below:

: Cooldown 210 Seconds.
: Cooldown 158 Seconds.

^That's RETARDED in my most honest opinion. The usual 265 going into -45, and ghost is like an ult... it will most likely be available every fight... dat kite.

Of course, if nessesary, I would most definitely recommend .

Item Builds

Yes! Here we are, the main dish for this guide. So let me give my opinion and logic behind my item choices:

Well to start off, I feel that the new items show some extremely powerful early and mid game damage that seems to be able to outshine the super costy . My selected items are cheap, and my most FAVORITE ITEM BY FAR, the , is one of the easiest items to build early. You can rush asap lanephase, being a recipe item, while also giving great gold benifits, from both by duration and by farming. Not to mention, your first item will be straight towards the item you want to build first saving time, AAAANNNND~ The lucky crit you get out of starting with can snowball your lane advantage, or even out your 1 HP Pot disadvantage(if they start boots). Added to that, the new Movement speed buff seems to work so well with no-boots level 1, so I never have that much of a fear of being low on MS(And it's a vayne, so you can chase like any other AD chasing WITH boots equality), but you should still be careful of ganks, that -25 MS could kill you easily from ganks. Though I do believe running both and will be enough to keep you safe in lane at anytime using one to escape, and another to escape again before the other is back up.


Now, about the ,
I feel that this item can hurt your last hitting abilities, but that's just part of the learning curve. Harass is RIDICULOUS, pushing is NOW POSSIBLE on vayne, and that bonus damage can really help 1-auto trades in lane. I can forsee this as a great lane dominating item. But don't be fooled at its "only 100" bonus damage, because this thing is crazy strong. You can actually clear jungle camps like wolves/wraiths with a god damn vayne without taking 15 minutes, you can push lanes like a monster for power farming multiple lanes, getting where you need to while not missing out big waves, and the teamfight damage is not to be overlooked. You're doing 400 damage maximum only from that item in teamfights with just 1 auto, not to mention your autos do damage themselves. This is crazy for assist hording. Even though that may be a small thing to notice, it still adds up, and who doesn't want gold?

As for ,
I think this item is straight up OP. Like... this thing looks straight up like Hacks for a graves refreshing that E cooldown, it's straight up retarded, dashing every 3 autos. I haven't tested this on Kog'maw but I do believe that W is gonna be a bannable offense(lol). But for vayne, It doesn't really do much but the actual effect it gives, and it doesn't stack silverbolts, nor do you have the AD to add to the scaling on it. But as you're already running , This is just a great item altogether with that multi-hitting combo. I also like it for even more added pushing/farming/jungling power for I am a man with a CS fetish.

Along the line up till now, you may think this build is going towards split-pushing, aoe damage, farming - kind of thing, but try it out, it does more damage than most would've thought. I'm serious.

Runaans, and Shiv giving a ton of attack speed is something I also enjoy early and mid game. This makes your damage output more consistent, kiting easier than an +, and farming better as well.
This is also about time I would upgrade my boots for the CDR on my summoners(I would probably get it early, around maybe when or before I buy if necessary).

Now, for the ,
This is something I just stuck with, I bought a zeal after Runaans and just said, "oh fk, whatever." Though I do like it for benifits of Critting with both and . Remeber the shiv's passive can crit, and so does your Runaans(I think...) The crit is absolutely amazing to double up your damage on both item passives while even more added movement and attack speed is great for kiting like a beast, must say I prefer it over anything else. Though you can get at anytime between this and anything further, because in higher tier games, kiting and positioning can't keep you alive all the time in every game.

As for the that I didn't metion that you should've built before Runaans, I took a look at this item , and it seems good!
Running bonus damage into your autos is never a bad idea with this retard build, and it seems to heal you for more than just your physical damage from autos. Not sure if this works with any of the other items, but I still like it anyways. The active also seems great for chase/escape from slowing your enemy diver and stealing that as a bonus for yourself while also burst healing for that damage. Haven't tried it out yet, but theoretically looks promising.

Idea behind The Shiv+Runaan Combination

A little more about the Items and more into the little details why I think they're great.

As for my most favorite ,

You gain charges by attacking and moving. This also includes any type of mobility.
Vayne tumble, Graves dash, etc. They all give charges for further speeding up your next proc. Also, it's best to kite as much as possible anytime to get the charge bonus for both attacking and moving. You can build 10 charges for 1 auto, so instead of taking 10 autos for another charge, kiting can reduce the time it will take to get it back to 100. Also, Remembering that gives tons of Attack speed, this also helps speed up charging.

: Especially for , Combining with this item is just crazy. Dashing gives the benifit of fueling your Charges, while Runaans is refreshing your Dash like cheat engines. More dash, more Shiv procs, more damage, more awesomeness. But all-around, this item is just so fun and cool that I'd buy it on soraka.

It's funny though, Graves' shotgun is shooting arrows.


Final Comments

Well, that's it for my insignificant guide. Hope this works out to your favors, and if you don't like it, then okay. If you think there are better builds or whatever, then by all means discuss it with me. I personally think this could've came out much better and more specific, more in detail, and better to understand from another person's view, but I rushed this out from anxiety of wanting to tell others of such a fun build.

I personally think this build isn't that great, but it's really a build that I generally fell in love with at first buy. Hope you have fun if you try it too, and try out your own combinations and whatnot with great success. Cya.

Runaan's Hurricane is in fact an awesome item on most ad ranged carries HOWEVER I just thought I would let u know ( I too made this mistake) you DO NOT WANT THIS ITEM ON VAYNE!!!!!!!! DO NOT..... The entire reason Vayne is so OP is because of her silver bullet procs.... when u put Runaan's in slot u just de-activated the proc of ur silver bullets. Meaning..... u WILL NOT PROC silver bullets EVER with this item. For Vayne this item is a NO NO. It takes away what makes her great (u may not notice she is doing worse IF u r already fed but if u build this first u will notice RIGHT AWAY with ur first three hits her dmg has gone down. Graves, Draven, Tristana and many more absolutely an amazing item..... just thought I would let u know since I also made this mistake...... and also in hopes u will do ur research (dont just take my word for it u can see the featured build for confirmation OR the red post from Riot on the forums confirming this) and maybe change this seeing as how ALOT of ppl are prolly checking out new builds for advice and it would be a shame for ppl to use this item and all they get out of it is 70attack speed and then end up LOSING their silver bullet procs(main dmg) to get 2 targets hit at once for a rather low amount at that. It seems u really like the statikk shiv so I am almost positive u will continue to use this item ... I would recommend that (IF u dont wanna use the phantom dancer) you try either Mercurial Scimitar or Zephyr with the Stat Shiv..... YES Zephyr only gives u 25% AD (which u DONT get any AD with Runs Hur) BUT u get 50 Attack Speed, 10 Cooldown Reduction, 10 Movement speed multiplier and Tenacity 35% .... So all in all u get ALOT more out of the Zephyr than u do the Runs Hurr since u lose too much with that item.... The Mercurial Scimitar seems to be a HUGE FAVE among Almost ALL Vayne players and most all including the top rated have worked it into their core. well gluck and hope this helps u!
