I strongly suggest focusing on the tiamat as it is your main farming source.
(dont forget to SPAM its active)

Gettiamat AFTER spirit-stoneand boots-of-speed
it leads for awesome clear times, and powerful ganks.(It adds dmg to your R Infinite Duress)

NOOBIES NOTE: If it is your first time playing Warwick, It should be understood that he is going to be 'squishy' until you have thespirit-of-the-ancient-golem spirit-visage
(dont for get to SPAM Q all day in team fights)


Boots: S3 lets boots become optional for early game at least, depending on their team i suggest mercurys-treads (merc not neeed so much due to spirit-of-the-ancient-golem) or sorcerers-shoes, use your head and just think about the team your versing ninja-tabi are still good if their heavy ad or you like tower diving (;

Some people go berserkers-greaves i don't find berserker greaves to be a strong choice, as auto attack warwicks need to somewhat over commit to a fight surviving through attacking or just get kited to death. zephyr Well talk about this later for the 'rev' heads!


Mid to Late: spirit-of-the-ancient-golem spirit-visage frozen-heart ravenous-hydra blade-of-the-ruined-king
NOTE: The Attack Speed Buff to blade-of-the-ruined-king made wits-end unimportant
If your versing high ap, maybe think about it, however its just not needed anymore.

End Game Fun: Stupidly late game, sell wriggles-lantern for the-bloodthirsteror guardian-angel or banshees-veil if high cc.
zephyr For all the men out there who dont like boots, throw em at ur girls and pick up this bad boy! Almost 3 times the attack speed of greaves, the tenacity of merctreds, and a lovely kick of damage and speed. Oh the ladies will be jelly.

The GA isnt my secret to not dieing iv just played Warwick to much, but your healing capabilities mean if your GA is poped you can Q as you come back and get back to full hp fast!

Firstly I would only suggest swapping out the Tiamat, the mallets extra health pool should ensure sustain-ability and catch-ability, respectively.

1:- Dont use the spirit of the elder golem, its hp got nurfed, its kinda weak and the gold bonus isnt that great.

2:- Start with the ward trinket, this will allow you to ward their buff and let you safely steal, (Get mid to ward your alternate buff, incase they invade for it too)

3:- START LONG SWORD, your not geting an item that needs the machete, its good and u can still get pots cos its alot cheaper!!

Introduction

Intro
In this guide i try to explore two things, 1 ease in playing, 2 adapting to variable change.

Playing the game for fun is well and good, but when your on edge with 1 hit point to go before your die on your first rounds in the jungle, life can get a bit hectic i try to simplify everything.
Luckily Warwick is one of the strongest junglers when it comes to surviving jungle monsters.

Thinking outside the box and planning on your, your team mates and your enemys actions is what makes league of legends such a great game, pulling out some random move that wrecks the opponent is why were all here. Sadly most of the planning side comes from experience, however i will try to shed some light on the general thought process and hopefully help you to think the same!

Starting

Warwick needs to invade, be it wraiths or more, his initial jungle is quite slow and this just helps him keep up.

if the jungler starts red, u can also steal there blue buff.
Step 1 - Buy your items and run for their wraith bush and ward it.
Step 2 - take wraiths (leave 1 wraith and if you have time take there red, (giving redbuff to top and mid is an excellent way of making up for warwicks late ganks.
Note:- Vs Leesin/mundos blue can be taken the same way, tho riskier if your blue side as the adc or support usually still scouts it, use your ward in the bush that sees golem, hope u dont get seen.

After this, run to wolves, blue, wraiths, wolves, red, golems wraith, so-on.

NOTE:- Some junglers' are fast with the new smiteless leash, some junglers can realise you stole their red, run to your blue and jack it faster then you can take down wolves, pay attention to your ward!!
If they see that you have taken there jungle and run straight for your red, (your ward will see this)
Just rally your lanes and get first blood :).

Besides this, Jungle as hard and as fast as you can, keep watch of over extended lames or close 1v1s u could jump on.
(before level 6 look for sure things, or only gank with red, wasting time at this level will result in really bad delays in your power at 6)

Once your 6 start ganking with ult.
(When their is 20-15 seconds left on the cooldown start maping out your next gank)
"if you fail to plan, you plan to fail" MyGeoTeacher. (i failed lol)

Team Fights.
If you can engage with ult, that's great, watch out for CC tho.
(Rare occasions: Use your ult as a flash. I was on the wrong side of a wall, i ulted a person with a banshess vale just to get to the other side, some calls are right for the wrong reasons)

If not try to run at the adc or ap, Q constantly to keep up health and Ult later after the CC is gone.

The Perfect Ult would be Q W R Q, getting the first Q off, allows you to do some damage, W allows team mates to inflict as much damage as they can, and finishing with a Q can usually get you a kill :D!

If your at really low health, sit in the back line spaming W and Q.
Just like critplank if you know what i mean. (his is Q E tho)

Objectives

Dragon:- Around 7-8 mins you should be on your first back, picking up madreds razor and boots a pink ward and a couple of potions. Pink dragon and gank bot, with help from them you should easily be able to take down dragon.

Baron Nashor:- after your core items, baron becomes easy to tank, however your going to want your team there for damage and safety.
The right time for baron comes with experience, after a strong ace, or after they push your base for too long, if they back as your team comes up, its an excellent time to take that desperate baron to win the game.
(if you want to rush Barron early get some armor and life steal even just a chain vest can make a whole lot of difference)

Before You Start: Runes Summoners Masteries

Runes
Not much to say just my thought process

Attack speed: is needed for early game survive-ability and late game damage output.

Flat armor: is needed for early game, if you can pull off per level its great, but its risky due to so much riding on your early game. (if you dont get farmed your going to peak at 50mins+)

Magic Per Level: Until those jungle monsters learn the dark arts your all right (:

Movement Speed: When their's no Redbull



Summoners
Smite: I dont care if you have cho and nunu on your team, dont leave this stuff up to chance, YOUR THE JUNGLER!!!!

Flash/Ghost: i feel their greater then anything else (although if you have a cool premade team, telly ganks are pretty fun)

I Favor Flash your movement speed is already awesome, with cutlass you can catch up if you make a mistake, but if they flash a wall and you have ghost its not really going to help...
(I do understand personal preference and im not ruling it out, but just try flash for 10 games see what its like if your a ghost player.


Masteries
Masteries are hard to explain, hard to forcefully define.
Due to different play styles and if you change your masteries depending on the team your playing(draft)

Id rather just point out some of the weaker choices

Offence (only talking 9 points)
Fury > Sorcery: My Full build gives a cap of 40% so this 4% CD is a waste in all due respect,(also blue is 20% at lvl 1)
:- Your not using ghost (hopefully) and butcher doesn't help against heros.

Defense
Durability > Perseverance for Warwick (your hp is only around 2500 at full build)
Bladed armor is good for early clear: you could get away with out it but its just making life tough.

Safeguard can be swapped up i guess, juggernaut if you never dive towers but in my opinion if your not tanking towers, your just not doing your job (as a tank that can just regen all the damage a tower does... why make life difficult for the rest of your team :(?

Legendary Armor: PLEASE REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS FOR ALL CHAMPIONS.
Warwick at level 18 with 'full build' (rarely get fullbuild)
has 240 armor and 180 magic resit approx |FOR 1 point in legendary armor?
thats a bonus of 12 armor 9 magic resist |4.8 armor and 3.6 magic resit

Compared to Defender that can give a total of 5 armor and 5 magic resist for only 1 point
Idk about you but defends just makes life easier cos you get more points to spend :)

Good Hands is like saying yeah ima die... Cmooon Ill update this with games eventually, but warwicks the only champ iv played consistently with out death.

Although i havnt played a whole lot of ranked, out of the 2 games i got 1 death

I hope these help you, although its a great idea to change up your masterys every match to what your versing, i find this is probably the most common and easy (i use 2 in hardiness over resilience for jungle ease)

Start with W (Hunters Call) it helps buff you and your team mates attack speed, boosting your start!!

Max Q E R W

Indepth View of SKILLS

Eternal Thirst (Passive) Each of Warwick's autoattacks deal 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16 additional magic damage and heal him for the same amount. Each successive attack against the same target will stack this amount of healing and damage up to a maximum of 3 stacks. The stacks remain for 4 seconds.

  • Not really any strategy here, id say focus on tanks targets due to Blade of Ruined King + Passive
This will help you tank towers for longer and survive better but PRIORITY #1 IS THE ADC ALLDAY EVERYDAY!
(you shouldnt have to peel but if you get to low hp standing beside the adc makes you more enticing)
  • Critical hits heal for their damage too, just like basic attacks (sorry i don't know how to explain this...)

Hungering Strike
Active: Strikes an enemy for the higher value between the flat magic damage or a percentage of the targets maximum health, and heals Warwick for 80% of the damage dealt. Minions and monsters can only be dealt the flat magic damage.
Range: 400
Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana
Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds
Flat Magic Damage: 75/125/175/225/275 (+1.0 per ability power)
Maximum Health Percentage: 8/10/12/14/16 % (+1.0 per ability power)

  • In the jungle try to use sparingly once you have your razor, Low levels mana can come short. Glacial Shroud should save your life tho.
  • You have max cooldowns!(40%) if this is NOT on cooldown, in a team fight you need to SPAM it more :)
  • Use it even when running, (on a close champ- walking past a monster or minion)
  • AP does increase the healing potential If you play Twisted Treeline or an ARAM Hextech is pretty fun

Hunters Call Active: Warwick lets out a howl that inspires all nearby allied champions, increasing Warwicks attack speed and all affected friendly champions attack speed by half of the amount for 10 seconds.
Cost: 35 mana
Radius: 1200
Cooldown: 24/22/20/18/16 seconds
Self Attack Speed Bonus: 40/50/60/70/80 %

  • In the jungle use it as much as possible, hold back on Q and you wont run out of mana
  • As mentioned it too should always be on cooldowns in a team fight, (try not to die in team fights it will help even if you cant.)
  • Also Mentioned If you can enguage a team fight with a Q (W) R Q combo, this is perfect!
(However if your 1v1 Q R Q W is better as you will have to fight after too)
Always Plan how you will fight, whos with you will they benefit from attack speed is it better off being saved or not (You usually want your target dead if your with your team)

Blood Scent
Toggle: Warwick senses enemy champions under 50% life within a certain distance of him, revealing them until they heal, leave the area or Blood Scent is deactivated. While sensing an enemy, he gains extra movement speed.
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Distance: 1,500/2,300/3,100/3,900/4,700
Movement Speed Bonus: 20/25/30/35/40 %

  • If your coming in for a gank on a low hp target turn it off, till your real close then pounce!
  • ALWAYS CHECK THAT THIS SKILL IS ACTIVE WHEN YOUR CHASING SOMEONE!
(too many times have i seen someone try to chase me, and they dont have their E up, i lol and escape)

Infinite Duress Active: Warwick lunges at an enemy champion, suppressing the target for 1.8 seconds and striking for magic damage five times in 0.334-second intervals. Warwick gains 30% life steal for the duration. Each of his strikes triggers on-hit effects and benefits from life steal and Eternal Thirst.
Range: 700
Cost: 100/125/150 mana
Cooldown: 90/80/70 seconds
Magic Damage Per Strike: 50/67/84 (+0.4 per bonus attack damage)
Total Magic Damage: 250/335/420 (+2.0 per bonus attack damage)

  • Perfect for jungling, dont be afraid to flash ult just make sure you PING your thoughts out!
  • Team fights are hard, i understand this but think so hard about CC, your ult is better off WORKING on a half life opponent then NOT WORKING on a full hp one
(Their are rules to this as i mentioned the telly jump just to catch up (; or to escape idk!!
  • FUN FACT:- infinite duress is a funny skill, it does magic damage but is powered by attack damage, and at a stupidly high rate of 2! Just saying 6 bts (blood thirsters) and your 1 hitting most squishy targets LOL :D

Excellent guide sir, i was skeptical about the tiamat rush on jungler at first but it's amazing on Warwick. Hope your guide gets approved since there's only 1 other approved ww guide and it's for treeline...

I updated the masterys a bit, legendary armor is actually really bad, taking defender will be more point efficient and just as good in team fights.
