If your team is ahead and/or gets the upper hand in a team fight, and the enemy is retreating, using
on a nearby minion or on a quicker ally, and then using
to hit the retreating enemy can slow them down for your team to be able to catch up. If
is available, either use it on yourself so you can catch up to use
, or use on an ally with a stun/slow for them to be able to catch up.
Straight up team fight
In a straight up team fight, save
to either disrupt their whole team if an ally is getting jumped on or is in a decent position to knock up most of the enemy team, or save it to save your AD carry if they get caught out of position. You should use
to shield allies with rather than to cause damage.
should be spammed as much as possible (as long as you have enough mana for

is hard to use effectively if more than one of the enemy team is fed and is jumping on your carry. You should save it for anyone who is chasing your AD carry or if you get a good position against the enemy team, you can use it on a tankier ally to be able to keep up in pace if the enemy has too many slows etc.
