Champion Matchups

Introduction

Zac is a great teamfighter/jungler/ganker

His moves allow him to get in and get out as well as get the job done.

His ult can be devastating in a teamfight.

He can also be a good tank and great initiator.

Summoner Spells



Explanation:

Smite is necessary for jungling

Flash is great for escapes but Ghost is a good substitute.

Consider:



Ghost might be better than Flash in some cases.



Exhaust is great for slowing enemies as Zac has long cooldowns and needs things to help him chase

Team Fights

During a teamfight I would usually start with with E and then hitting my R and just stomping on enemys while my team just nukes them all and it usually results in the getting a Ace.



E > R is possibly the best way to start a team fight but it would be best if you jumped in from a bush/area the enemy doesn't see then immediately using R and clicking W in between.

Jungling

I tend to get the Red buff first, Zac can do it without a leash but it would be better to get a Leash.

The path I take is Red > Wolves > Wraiths > Blue > Golems

Once I get a spirit visage I can solo Dragon no problem.

As Zac you don't also really need the blue buff other than for CD reduction, so you can let your mid get it towards the end.

Red on the other hand lets you do way more damage and would be better than blue.

Skill Order

The skill order is pretty straight forward.

For a teamfight use E then R and continue using W then use Q to clean up

For a gank start with a E > Q > W > R

Keep using E to escape or to chase low HP enemies as well as to gank.

Masteries

Going into defensive seems the best as he is a weak champion but can be built for tank.

Early Game

Early game you want to mainly farm the jungle and you can start ganking as early as level 4. Make sure to get the Spirit of the Spectral Wraith and start going for boots. Coordinate with teamates to make successful ganks as well as to relieve pressure on some lanes.

Mid Game

During the Mid game you should already have spirit visage if not continue getting one as it helps you heal a lot more. By mid you should just be roaming to gank, getting buffs , killing dragon. Tasks that will help your team win and to get yourself gold.

Late Game

During Late Game, you should focus on teamfights mainly. Scoring a ace will bring you closer to victory especially if they keep happening. You should also build items that you need.

Skills

Passive: Cell Division

Explanation:

This passive is similar to Anivia's passive although there are 4 blobs and when they all go into the puddle you are reborn with 10%-50% health depending how much health each blob had.



Q: Stretching Strike

Explanation:

Stretching Strike will hit any unit in a line as well as slow them by 30% for 2 seconds.




W: Unstable Matter

Explanation:



Unstable Matter deals magic damage as well as a % of the enemy's max health. This is an area of effect move which damages anything near Zac.

E: Elastic Slingshot

Explanation:

Elastic Slingshot is a great move for zac that allows him to jump at a location. This can be used to chase down enemies with low HP, gank as well as using it to escape.



R: Let's Bounce!

Explanation:

Let's Bounce allows Zac to bounce 4 times, each bounce deals magic damage , slows enemies and also will knock up the enemies.

While active Zac also gets a movement speed increase and CC crowd reduction. This ultimate is great for teamfights.




Final Comments

Zac is a great champion for jungling. He requires no mana cost for his spells so he can stay in the jungle longer to get the farm he needs. He is a great ganker and teamfighter.
