Leblanc is a very early game aggressive champion, so you want to take 21 in offense. To make the laning phase easier , take 9 in defense.

Introduction

Hello summoners! Welcome to my LeBlanc guide. This is my first guide that I have ever written, and I hope that I can help you summoners with learning the basics of LeBlanc. In this guide we will go through some of her strengths and weaknesses.

I hope that since this is my first guide I can get some feedback about how it worked, or what I can do to improve my guides in the future.

Some Pros and Cons to LeBlanc

Pros:
  • Amazing burst damage
  • High mobility makes for easy roam
  • Poke ability with
  • Able to outplay with combo of > >

Cons:
  • Falls off late game unless fed
  • Very squishy
  • Not the easiest champion
  • Auto attack does not have the best animation

Masteries

LeBlanc is played the best aggressive in my opinion, so you would want to go with 21 points in offense.

As for the defense tree, I take these masteries because of the fact of an easier laning phase.

Runes

When I play LeBlanc I like to run some magic penetration, and magic resist to any magic damage dealing champions. Also, I like to take some armor just in case I am up against an AD champion.

Summoner Spells

Explanation:
Flash/Ignite is a really strong combo for LeBlanc providing safety in lane with Flash, and ignite to add to her burst damage.

Flash
Flash is the safest choice to take on almost any champion, it provides safety in lane and for situations where you need a quick escape. As for LeBlanc, flash works well with picking off people trying to recall with > combo.

Ignite
Ignite is used mainly for the extra damage, and to secure kills. Ignite is important on LeBlanc because of how important her early game is. With ignite you will be able to win trades early, and secure kills all game.

Skills

Passive: Mirror Image

Explanation:
This passive is sometimes useful and sometimes not as useful, it all comes down to the type of player you are up against. This passive activates a half second period of stealth, and then activates the clone when she falls somewhere below 40% health.

This passive can easily help you during laning phase, and especially during a team fight. When the clone activates it is difficult to decide which LeBlanc is the real one.

Careful though, as not all players are tricked by this, some are skilled LeBlanc players and know what how to spot the correct version of you!

Q: Sigil of Silence

Explanation:
LeBlanc's (Q) Sigil of Silence is her main poke, but doesn't do much damage in the early game. For this reason I like to max her (W) Distortion because you can poke with it, and it has more base damage than the (Q). Not only is Sigil of Silence a good poking utility, but it is also great for silencing your enemies. If you land your (Q) and then use any other of LeBlanc's abilities it will silence the target for 1.5 seconds.

This makes LeBlanc a strong mid lane matchup with the use of her silence.

W: Distortion

Explanation:
In my opinion Distortion is LeBlanc's most effective ability because of its many uses. It can be used for things such as poke, escape, and outplay. Effectively using her (W) means that you know which walls you can go over such as baron wall, part of buff walls.

The reason why I max her (W) is because it is such a strong laning phase poke ability that it is almost impossible to counter it. If you use her (W) to hit the target and then press (W) again, you can do damage and escape in less than a second.

This ability is also great for clearing minions, and can usually put you ahead of your counterpart.

E: Ethereal Chains

Explanation:
LeBlanc's ethereal chains are very important when it comes to early engages and trades. It is a skill shot ability and can be the difference of life or death for you or your teammate. If you hit the target it will deal initial magic damage and leash to the enemy for 1.5 seconds also slowing their movement speed by 25%. After the 1.5 seconds is up, the target takes an additional bit of magic damage and is rooted for a few seconds.

A good combo to use is > > > > which can usually burst down the target.

R: Mimic

Explanation:
Mimic is an extremely important spell to master, and is very effective in early trades and all-ins. The ability casts the previous spell that she casts, but magnifies the damage by 10/25/40% per level. Costs 0 mana!

Good combos with her mimic:
> allows you to travel across a long distance, or magnify the damage of your already powerful Distortion.

> allows you to double root an enemy which can be extremely effective if landed correctly such as double rooting the ADC/APC in a teamfight.

Other Tips

Other Tips while using LeBlanc:
  • Try to use the double root combo on the most fed person on the enemy team (ex. ADC/APC)
  • Practice her combos
  • Roam to lanes that are not doing so well
  • Early game: Establish a lead on the opponent, try to pick up first blood with > >
  • Mid game: Roam to lanes that are failing, if none are failing try to kill the enemy jungler.
  • Late game: Pick off important people (ex. ADC/APC)
  • Team fights: Make sure to land the (E) on the carries, and burst them down as fast as possible.
