Masteries

I go 21/0/9 taking improved smite if I'm jungling.

right now I'm taking archaic knowledge for the smokescreen damage but I still need to test if its really worth it.

Summoner Spells

Explanation:

on all AD carries unless your kogmaw and want to swap out exaust for something else.

Runes

Laning: Flat AD QUINTS, Armor Seals, Magic Resist per level glyphs and Armor Pen marks.

Jungling: 2x Flat AD quints, 1 Armor pen quint, Armor Seals, Attack speed glyphs, 3x attack speed marks, and 6x armor pen marks.

Skills

Buckshot: Graves fires three bullets in a cone damaging all enemies in the projectiles path. Enemies at close range can be hit by multiple projectiles, but each one beyond the first will deal reduced damage.

Really strong at low levels and if you get use to timing and positioning you will get better with it.

Smokescreen: Graves fires a smoke canister at the target area that deals damage and creates a cloud of smoke. Enemies inside the smoke cloud have reduced sight range and movement speed.

Super strong move for a bot lane ad.

Quickdraw: Graves dashes forward gaining an attack speed boost for several seconds. Attacking enemies lowers the cooldown of this skill.

LETS YOU GO THROUGH WALLS YAY.

Collateral Damage (Ultimate): Graves fires an explosive shell dealing heavy damage to the first target it hits. After hitting a champion or reaching the end of its range the shell explodes dealing damage in a cone behind the target.

True Grit (Passive): Graves gains increasing armor and magic resistance the longer he remains in combat.

Skill Order

Collateral Damage > Buckshot > Smokescreen > Quickdraw Priority

I do Q,W,Q,E and depending on whats happening sometimes taking E earlier.

Item Builds

or

from here I either go tanky with

or for more damage if my team needs it with and

I almost always get a on most of my characters so for the last slot just choose a damage or defense item.

Early Game

Your Extremely Strong early game and have lots of mobility so use it to your advantage. Put lots of pressure on the enemy team and try for an early lane kill.

Mid Game

Your either doing a good bit of damage or your moderately tanky by mid game just make sure you keep farming throughout this phase while trying to get kills or assist and focus on dragon control and baron control.

Late Game

Most games you either get stomped or it comes down to one team fight. Your ult makes a great initiation just make sure you position it right and your team can keep the fight in the AOE of your ult and smokescreen.

Team Fights

Your moves go through the first person so you basically can face roll damage through the tank. Just ult, Drop smokescreen and spam buckshot while staying in a good position with quickdraw.

Jungling

You can do it but you really shouldn't since you lack hard CC and you stay low the whole time. If you want to do it for funnsies you can do it without dying. Just get cloth armor and some Hp pots and go to town. I prefer Wolves,Wraiths, golems, base, Blue, Wolves, Wraiths, Golems, Base Red then gank.

my guide isn't for telling others how to play its for players who just want a little more info then what they have incase they want to purchase him or a guideline to where to start to play him.

I dont understand why you're trying to make a guide for a champion that just came out. Unless you can prove that you've had some epiphany of understanding on how to win every single game, like others your 'build' lacks actual experience. I recommend waiting and playing him for at least a week or two before trying to tell others how to.
