IntroductionTeemo is a very good champion to play on solo top.
He can harass quiet easily with his poison and his basic attacks.
He got his own wards when hitting lvl 6 so he is hard to gank. But play care before level 6 or buy wards because your pretty fragile.
MasteriesFor Masteries I take 21/9/0
This is you both deal magic and attack damage so penetration for both is nice to have.
Also i compensate his low health problem a bit with the 9 points in defence
1/1 Veteran's Scars
This gives you in begin lane + 36 health and + 6 health every lvl
Futhermore I take 2 points in Resistance and Hardiness for some armor and magic resist.
The Points in Offence are
3/3 Brute Force for some extra attack damage on begin lane.
1/1 Summoner's Wrath For your ignite spell.
4/4 Alacrity for attack speed cause thats how you get high damage output with attacks and poison
4/4 Sorcery For cooldown reduction on your mushrooms and blinding dart because in late game many ad champions deal tons of damage
1/1 Weapon Expertise For your basic attacks to deal more damage
1/1 Arcane Knowledge For your Poison to deal more damage against champions + blinding dart and mushrooms.
3/3 Havoc For 2% more damage on all your attacks so you damage an champion more easily
3/3 Vampirism For some extra life steal because your a fragile champion so you need to life steal a lot to keep your health up after a gank or an attack from your opponent.
1/1 Executioner To increase your damage against champions who are low health, so your poison also deals more damage.

- 4 Magic Penetration Marks
- 3 Armor/Magic Pen Quintessences
- 9 armor seals
- 9 magic resist glyphs
you need more Armor pen than magic pen on tanky/ad teemo but magic pen is also easy to have with your poison, blind shot and mushrooms. They'll deal more damage so you can harass easier with some magic penetration.
On Teemo I use Flash/Ignite.
Flash is because teemo already got a movement speed bonus that he can use and i take ik already on lvl 2 so I can escape. But in ganks or players who got exhaust and flash is handy to have so you can get away and survive.
Ignite is because your poison deals damage and when you hit him with poison + ignite he got 2 dots on himself that a health potion wont heal enough to ignore the damage and still survive. With ignite and poison he'll die easier instead of surviving with 5 hp or less.
Not Handy on Teemo because he is no support
This can be handy against cc champions such as etc.
Because your core item is a phage you dont need exhaust to slow your enemies down + you got a movement speed bonus to get near him to kill him.
This can be used to run very fast and kill someone but since you have a movement speed bonus i would prefer Flash
Dont use this you got a blinding dart that can prefent you from dying.
Can be used for trolling your lane in begin but later in game its useless
Also only for troll, but its handy in end game so they wont get turrets very quickly because you can harass quiet a lot.
Teemo Jungle is possible but not one of the best. So keep it on solo top
Surge is nice to play with, But in late game teemo got enough attack speed from his items so its possible but not recommended
Teemo got a movement speed bonus so this is not needed.
If Teemo stands still and takes no actions for 3 seconds, he becomes stealthed indefinitely. After leaving stealth, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds.
Your passive is very handy for scouting if the enemy jungle is trying to gank on your junglers blue buff. You ll stand in the bushus and your opponents are unable to see you (only with an oracle). So take your advantage of this even with ganks its handy if you have the time to stand still their jungler will waste his time trying to gank you but your invisible.
Q: Blinding Dart
Deals 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+80% of ability power) magic damage and causes the target to miss all of their attacks for 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 seconds.
Cost 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110mana
Blinding dart is very handy again AD opponents, because if they try to hit you they can't because they are blinded. This helps you to land more basic attacks (with poison) so they'll be at lower hp at the time your blind has ended
W: Move Quick
Passive: Teemo's movement speed is increased by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30% until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Active: Teemo gains double his passive move speed for 4 seconds, this bonus is not lost on hit.
Your Move Quick is very handy for escaping enemies with movement speed buffs such as
(with his Q ability)
( With his W ability)
( with his ultimate)
( when using bear stands)
( when your low hp and with his W ability)
Its only active for a couple of seconds but you also gain a passive when you took this skill with extra moving speed. This is an easy way to escape gankers that use movement speed abilities or dont have boots.
E: Toxic Shot
Teemo's basic attacks poison their target, dealing 8 / 14 / 21 / 28 / 35 (+14% of ability power) magical damage upon impact and again each second for 4 seconds.
Toxic shot is a very handy attack in combination with you got a movement speed buff so you are likely to be faster than your opponent continues harassing him with your toxic shot.
R: Noxious Trap
Places a trap which detonates if an enemy steps on it, poisoning nearby enemies. Poisoned enemies take 200/400/600 (+80% of ability power) magic damage and have their movement speed slowed by 30 / 40 / 50% for 4 seconds. Traps last 10 minutes.
/ 100 / 125mana
His ultimate is very handy, they last very long and they act like wards but dealing damage over time and slowing the enemy. This gives you even more time to escape to a safe distance or getting to your turret.
Skill OrderSkill Order:
First I start with poison it deals quiet a lot of damage in early game next to the basic attacks you shoot. Than i Pick my W skill so i can run off when the enemy jungler comes to gank me.
Than i continue leveling my poison for more harassment, with 1 point on lvl 4 in blinding dart so you can counter the enemie that wants to hit you.
When you hit lvl 6 you dont need to buy wards anymore you just place your mushrooms on those places so you can see if someone ganks.
Than i continue to lvl my poison and blinding dart. Poison for harassment and blinding dart to counter.
I max my W skill as last because you alrdy got the movement speed buff and you got your mushrooms as wards so you'll escape easily.
2nd Skill build:
This skill build can be used if your opponent team dont have an jungler with movement speed increasing buff or if the enemy jungler is a champion that only can gank after lvl 3/4.
The 3th and 4th skill can be switched around if your not sure if the jungler is fast or you expect early ganks on your lane.
But this skill build gives you even more harassing time against your opponent landing Blinding Dart and Toxic shot over and over again.
Item BuildsIf you have problems with your opponent you can go 2 ways.
For Tanky make from -> if you play against high attack damage champions
Or buy if they got high cc and high magic damage
Even if the damage is equal I would prefer because of the cc almsot every champion got
For Attack Damage:
If you got problems you will probably go for the first considering more lifesteal health and attack damage from all the dorans blades.
But if you prefer the second build its also fine because you cna use the slow of the phage to slow down your opponent that is hunting you.
Phage is the main item you need to get for the slow, so you can harass opponent from a distance and hit them a few times before they even can get near you.
this is really the choice of the player
After this you got a few possibilities considering that there are more builds.
If you play tanky after your you want to rush for a lot of health and getting after that for more damage.
But if you play damage
After you get you (2x OR 3x ).
Buy a and than go for your Cause this is one the your main damage items because you'll deal more damage + your poison also still hits so your opponent will even lose more health.
After you got these items:
As Tanky you go for your because this will give you more power in teamfights and on lane. Because with the life steal you'll become more durable in fights. Than finish your and your last item is For more damage and attack speed.
As Damage build after you got your
You'll need to get your because you will deal even more damage per hit.
After that, you can finish off you if you need more lifesteal because the enemies hit hard.
Or if your just dominating buy for some sick damage.
Or Buy if your opponent starts buying armor against you.
These last 3 items can be bought in different orders because it depends on what your opponent is doing against you.
Final CommentsTeemo is a great champion to play on solo top lane.
He can harass easy.
And with some health the problems of easy ganks are gone.
