I have to agree with rawr20. Jax is one of my favourite champs since he's a fucking bad ass lategame. Im 1400 elo yet..i don't think that people at this elo even know how to counter him >_> They don't notice that 1 fucking item is needed to beat the shit out of jax. But hey...till higher elo i will just enjoy Jax ;)
He's still a beast. One of the strongest lategame champs- if not countered via items or summoner spells.

My build is like this:
Boot+3 (or 4) pots
1-3 Dorans (if possible 1 doran then bilgewater)
then hextech gunblade
now in my opinion every next item is situational...i don't like guinsoos since there are better items.
I often go for trinity after hextech.
If too much AD vs me-> Atmas
Too many ap's-> banshees

Well...usually my games end after gunblade..but if u get annoyed, just have more fun, 20 minutes aren't enough to enjoy full jax :D

I agree with almost everything in this guide, i always feel strong as jax (because i am 1200 elo and people are awful and feed jax), but it seems other melee dps characters just do much better than me and are much stronger, it seems jax is only strong in 1v1 fights where you are just sitting there attacking eachother but when does that ever happen, oh ya, NEVER.
my item build for him is boots + 3health pots, a few dorans blades, ninja tabi, bilgewater cutlass, hextech gunblade, guinsoo's rageblade, then banshees and atmas (the order depends on how the game is going), then normally just get more defense or maybe a trinity force.

This really should be removed now, half the information is no longer relevant, and the other half is covered better in his second guide.
