i tried your guide versus a leblanc .. my score was 3-1 in lane[ranked] and generally lb was no much for me .... cant understand why you said that she would cause lots of trouble ............
I am very curious about how you can put Olaf top as, "Champions that require alot of attention but which can be beaten alot more often than they should beat you:" And Garen, udyr and trynda as peoople that will destroy you. What I think is, I can agree its hard to farm against garen, but you should Be able to hit him with Q to excape his Q. He should not be able to come too close to you. Trynda will be totally humilitated before lvl 6 (unless u stand and fight with him 1v1 and let him hits you). Cassio can poke trynd so hard early, until you run out of mana. Udyr is same with Garen. IF he use bear stance, you Q him and u run away. But back to Olaf. He have that Axe which he can throw at u during ur last hit, it travels pretty good speed, + he normally goes Ghost. you can NOT outrun Olaf, and if he wants. He can get u to 50% at his lvl 3 burst.. I hope you can explain more how to counter these kinds of champions, Olaf,Galio, Nidalee, Vladimir and Lee sin, since you probably does not look at them as a problem top lane :) Thanks - ZarOnAx
Thanks, accepted. Takes guts and a spine to write that.
Well I take critique very seriously and personal, so if someone "overdoes" it, it ends up not cutting to the chase but inflicting anger on both sides. Maybe this happens to you more than it does not. I always feel that my critique is not taken seriously if I am too kind or too harsh. Led some guilds in WoW, maybe I found a way that works.
btw, I started including/rewriting some parts already ;)
After some reflecting and considering what you said, I realized that if my bluntness or rudeness is detracting from how effectively I get my points across from a critical perspective, I should tone it down to a more respectable level. I feel very strongly about the critique I write, and I think that some personal feelings slip in a little too often perhaps, although I try to write (and think) objectively and judge only the writing. It was immature, and I apologize. After a lot of critical writing on guides I sometimes feel that nothing I say makes a difference and more often than not authors would rather have a pat on the back than a serious judgment, or that I'm not taken seriously, and that bothers me and affects my writing more than it should.
I said "I" 12 times in this comment, and that probably means something.
Woah whatever. Stop this immature shit, won't you?
Wouldn't answer you if I would not take it seriously. But comments have no edit function. And I already told you I will take 70% of your advices into consideration.
Good god, why does everyone have such thin skin? It's not like I littered every sentence with "ur effin retartet!" I took my own time to read (or at least skim) your guide and tell you what I thought about it, something I could very well have not done at all. Would you rather I had not posted at all? because I'm not going to censor myself just to pretend to be nice to you or that I even like you; furthermore, I expect more out of a guides moderator than "no YOU repeat yourself!" bollocks. Ask yourself if you want insincere kindness, or proper feedback, because posting a little addendum stating "thanks anyway!" doesn't give me confidence that you considered anything I said.
The Q>E bit is interesting, though. I could see her playing very cagily like that, like Karthus or Gragas with her long-range poke. It makes sense, especially if she was laning against Vladimir.
Politeness goes a long way. Don't lecture me, I hate this teacher-kind-of-stuff ("There is a difference...") You repeat yourself quite a lot for someone with so little love for redundance ;)
Huge updates need input. Thats why I waited for them. Btw, Cassiopeia didn't get anything huge in the last patches. Items maybe.
Actually I never came to finish the counter section, now on the list again. I may shorten the sources chapter and make it more comprehensive.
Its personal taste whether to play with shift+key or not. That's how I play it and it feels better for me. I can put a reassign note into it though.
E over Q is better for lane dominance/burst damage, but Q over E gives more sustain damage for less mana cost and more farm. Most decent players are far too concerned of your E and won't get in range for it. I think it depends on the lane.
