@Kowe: I happened to drop from 1552 to finally ~1350 elo yesterday, so thats not a great deal if you're considering anything below 1500 is just lottery...
I usually played Cass around 1500 and had somewhat 62-65% win until I reached this elo.

Whatever, a smart Swain with alot of defense (mastery tree as well as MR runes) will crush you if he knows how to play, unless you have blue 24/7. I've beaten a lots of Swains but if you think of a decent one, you have to admit his kit is really strong against Cass.

@limonovich: There are parts of mid and lategame where you might run out of mana without manaregen/level. However this is up to your personal taste as I mentioned in the runes section. I posted what I run and if you think it's not that strong, pick one of the mentioned alternatives (like flat mana regen).

@Shadow-twin: depends on jungler ganks and Singed's MR.

i'm by no means an amazing cassio player, but i find that running flat mana regen seals is better for establishing early lane dominance and allowing you to harass more easily. break even for scaling vs flat is between lvls 6 and 7, by then you should get blue buff and mana regen should not be an issue at all. furthermore, 10.53 mana per 5 at level 18 is not even relevant any more, seeing as your mana pool is so big it really wouldn't make much of a difference.

Hmmm I haven't read the full guide, but I've read it and there's some nice points in it, but imo you should move Singed to easily beaten, everytime I see a Singed pick, I go straight for Cass and slice him up... He can farm and die, or hug turret and be useless - You have no way to lose that lane ever even if his jungler is all over your ass, but then your jungler needs to get his shit together and you need some wards, but that's another story - Cass > Singed everyday :D

IMO, You can easily out farm Veigar and LB. Just get early ganks from your jungle Pre 6. Anyway great guide

I disagree on several points in this guide but this one really made me downvote you. This guide me the feeling that you know Cassiopeia's concept but don't have much actual experience with her.
I checked your profile and found an 58% win rate at 1350ELO barely impressive.
At really appears like you put time and effort into this guide - maybe you should take it down, play 50 more Cassiopeia games and rewrite some parts.

Cassiopeia is one of the hardest counter to swain. She outranges Swain since LVL 1 and she can easily burst Swain down even if Swian activates his ult.

You wrote that twin fang gives spellvamp like an aoe spell. It does indeed give full spell vamp, but as far as Rylai's goes it does not give a full slow.

Well the video is quite old where I rarely used smartcast. Guess it's time for a new one.

I guess he meant the video 1, where smartcast is obviously not used :D.
