Ardor is absolutely not going to be significant at all if you're not playing AP Shen. 4% more AP is barely anything if you only have like a bit of AP through the whole game. You really don't need ASPD either from it.

He does mention using Movement Speed quints if you didn't read his rune page section.

Going 9-21-0 vs 9-20-1 is only preference to the player. In my opinion, there wouldn't be much of a difference, since Shen is pretty tanky with or without Tenacity.

I think the masteries are dumb. Why not invest in Ardor and Tenacity under Defense? I'd rather go 21 Defense than screw it all up for a little extra Ghost stats. Also, why no Quints of Swiftness?

The runes listed at top are different than the ones explained in the guide. Seems to be a little inconsistent, specially considering this claims to be updated a few days ago.

@PROXY The point of exhaust is to smash your target's dps into the ground and to slow them. Eg: Exhausting Tryndamere after he ults will make him do much less damage and make him think twice about staying. Fed AD carries can still do a number on you if you taunt them especially if they have armor pen items. Your job as a tank is to initiate, soak up damage and survive as long as possible, while peeling off tanky melee enemies who will use their gap closers to kill your squishies, so exhaust is really indispensable.

I wish shen's taunt has 3s taunt.
