Hello and Welcome, to yet another one of my Solo Top Guides! This time I'm doing Nidalee, The Bestial Huntress! If you're looking for an AP Mid Guide, or an AP Top Guide for her, please just leave now, as I can do one if you request, but this isn't one of those. ^^

Yeah, I take quite alot in the Offense. I do this because, I play her more of an offensive champ, as she snowballs way too easily. The main points on the tree is definately Armor Pen, LifeSteal and Executioner. Executioner makes your Q's damage just hit soooo damn hard. You can also add 4 AP, so you can get the CDR, and possibly the Magic Pen for your E when you're in Cougar Form. The Defensive Tree isn't really got alot invested. The Armor and Magic Resistance is essential, so the extra 1 Mastery point, can go into HP Regen/HP, or another point in the Offensive Tree.

Pretty Basic Solo Top Runes. I chose the extra AD in Quints to make last hitting under the turret a little easier, as Nidalee's AD isn't huge without investment, it leaves me with.. i think 64 AD with Boots 3 Pots, just makes last hitting easier. The Armor Pen really does make harassing champs like Mordekaiser and Shen real easy. As long as you can avoid Shen's Taunt and MordeKaiser's E. The Magic Resist Glyphs are their for that reason, AP Tops can be quite troublesome for Nida (Minus Morde). The Armor Yellows are for the same reason, I think she struggles with Pantheon and Gangplank, ergo the Armor. Armor pen is ESSENTIAL on Nidalee for her early game harass.

I dont see as essential, but I'm hardwired to use it on every champ. XD Works well with jumping over numerous walls at once with your Pounce.

I love this spell, I just find it's a brilliant spell to shut down the AD/AP Carry who the support is going to be healing, also, lowers regen I think? Idk... Plus, it can always be used to finish off an opponents.

This can be helpful for team fights, but generally, if your opponents team is high in CC, I'd just recommend getting Mercury Treads, as there are better Summoner Spells.

Yeah, quite a decent pick imo, helps u stay in lane ALOT longer with your heals, gives you more traps, and spear spam if your playing AP.

Another great Summoner Spell, very helpful for catching enemies if u dont want to run to a brush, or Pounce is on CD. Also good if you're just auto attack dueling.

I don't think this is good on Nidalee, as she already has great Movement Speed.

Not really needed, as you can run back to your turret rather quickly early game, but it's a great Spell to have for ganking, and getting down to Dragon/Baron quickly.

Can't really say it's needed, unless you're solo top against 2. You already have a heal.

Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 15% for 2 seconds.



Imo, one of the best passive's in the game, it makes Nidalee close to ungankable, and when she hits 6, it's close to impossible to escape her because of this. Also, it makes her juking that much stronger.





Human: Nidalee tosses her javelin, dealing 55 / 95 / 140 / 185 / 230 (+65% of ability power) magic damage on impact (deals up to 250% damage the further away the target is).

Cougar: Nidalee's next attack deals additional damage based on how low her opponent's life is.

Cooldown 6 seconds
Cost 50/60/70/80/90 mana
Range 1500



Her Human Form spear isn't really that good for Nida, unless ur finishing off an opponent from long range. But in Cougar form, this is going to be your main damage output, with Executioner and Takedown combined, your opponent is losing about 30% of their HP if they get hit by this (if they have less than 40% HP)




Human: Nidalee lays a trap that deals 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+40% of ability power) damage over 2 seconds, reveals the target, and reduces their armor and magic resistance by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% for 12 seconds. Traps last for 4 minutes.

Cougar: Nidalee lunges forward, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Pounce is not affected by cooldown reduction.

Cooldown 18seconds
Cost 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120mana
Range 900



Both of these skills, are brilliant on Nidalee, the traps give vision for 12 seconds, imo thats kind've OP, and it makes avoiding ganks all that much easier.

Pounce is what makes Nidalee an amazing juker, and chaser. Combined with her passive, like I said, shes unescapable, and ungankable, imo.




Human: Nidalee heals an ally champion for 50/85/120/155/190 (+70% of ability power) and grants them a 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60% attack speed for 7 seconds.

Cougar: Nidelee claws at enemies in front of her.

Cooldown 10 seconds
Cost 60/80/100/120/140 mana
Range 600



Primal Surge is brilliant early game, but imo it falls off later, but this is why Nidalee is such a strong top laner, so much sustain. In Cougar form, it does OK damage, but its nothing special. Does pretty decent damage as an AP, but meh.




Passive: Each additional rank increases the effectiveness of Nidalee's cougar abilities.

Nidalee transforms into a vicious cougar, gaining 20 movement speed, 10/20/30 armor and magic resistance and a new set of abilities.

Cooldown 4 seconds




BEST.ULTI.EVER. Can't really say much about it... all the rest of the guide talks about it.. :S
