I wish the old Jax back.
I tried this build, and it was perfect for my Jax playstyle.

can you just update the masteries because they are a little outdated

i lol'd about your vid ... imo dyrus guide way better.

Why no early Sheen? It increases the damage of your combo by like 200 damage on 30% resistance. Wriggles is also super strong, not only cause of the armor, damage and lifesteal, but also because you can jump on your free ward for double Flash or saves if your Flash isn't up. Don't tell me you don't get it because it delays your "core build", because both of those Items together provide almost the damage and utility Gunblade does, while you get it like 3 levels earlier.

Wriggle's is a must if you lane against another tanky DPS and it provides you with the ability to do early Barons and steal buffs in a matter of seconds.

I'd understand if you just prefer your build, but you don't even list those items for their strengths which they definitely have.



I also kind of dislike your Masteries, since I tend to go the pressure/offensive 21/9/0 route on almost any tanky DPS bruiser/skirmisher top. But I guess that's preference.

That 3v1 escape where you chased Cass into their jungle was just epic. Then you follow it up with a low-HP kill on Udyr and I nearly spit my coffee! :P

I think despite the nerfs jax will still be fine.
I mean its not his early game that makes the diffrence.

Big fan of you (I also prefer tanky Jax, but I do like Dyrus better lol). However when you try and scale into teamfights and late game, I can't understand 2 things.

Why you don't get Zhonya's? (Better then Atma's imo)
Why you don't consider Wit's End?
Also (vaguely) why you don't go AP.

You can get upwards of 3.5k hp very easily with AP Jax, and he probably has better sustained dps then AD Jax (yes your auto attacks hit hard but your ult proc hits TONS harder). He's easier to itemize then AD Jax. Zhonya's pretty well solves any problems you had previously especially if your focused and otherwise can't do shit. Deathcap not only boosts your damage tons but also boosts your hp and scales a billion times better into late game then anything else.
