Can you try and lane against kennen? I just got absolutely mashed by him in lane. I know the basic theory is to dodge his q to keep marks of the storm low, but when I tried to trade onto him he just auto'd me down because he could farm from so far off, and post six his ult stopped me dead.

@bobsizzlack: Well Urgot top is not popular at all. Sorry can't say anything about this matchup.
@WOTOFIT: Black Cleaver is situational as said in the Items chapter. 1 Bloodthirster is core. 2nd Bloodthirster is situational.

You should lane against an Urgot sometime, He really counters Riven hard (speaking as an experienced Urgot player), but as I'm new to Riven I'm not sure how you would go about trying to mitigate Urgot's dominance in top against Riven. I've pretty much never lost top lane to a Riven, even when their jungtler has camped cos Urgot can farm from range. I'd be intewrested to see what the reaction is so I can adapt how I play Urgot ^^

Sorry im a little confused, is it betetr to rush black cleaver or bloodthirster on riven currently? and also about the blade of teh ruined king, is it currently viable? and you mention the brurtalizer but say its upgraded into the botrk in the detailed items section

Why would you put points in critical strike masteries if you have 0 crit items in your build?

Three really fantastic Riven players who stream frequently, anyone wishing to view riven in high elo action using a lot of the stuff you note in your guide should deffo check them out, and wingsofdeathx is constantly explaining his reasoning behind building items and how he is going to approach a lane and why, deffo worth a watch for the newer players :)

@Svartedauen: Riven is still good in the meta. But my guide actually doesn't fit much anymore, it's really outdated. I'm gonna do a major overhaul very soon I hope, I'd say next week~.

@James Dredd: Go for a Black Cleaver as first item now.

@Honest Raven: Ravenous Hydra is not that good. To make it simple, I'd say Ravenous Hydra is only viable on champions which use only autoattacks to deal damage when they actually have built-in attack speed increase spells like Fiora. Fiora is extremely good with Ravenous Hydra, but Riven isn't because she does not autoattack much and does not have built-in attack speed (we are not even taking attack speed items because it's basically a waste).

Anyways, I'll do a big overhaul of the guide soon (probably next patch because Riven gets nerfed here).
A lot of informations are false/misleading at the moment.
