Le Blanc is a single target burst mage with a blink, and that can be very dangerous. She dominates mid game and has a good late game. If you play her properly you can zone out, burst down, and in-utilize characters out of lanes and team fights, that's her strong point. Le Blanc is an extremely fun champion as well (isn't this why we are all playing the game for?), and that makes learning her so much easier.

Pretty standard caster masteries, focusing in mana regen. cooldown reduction, and magic penetration.

With this combination of runes and masteries you shouldn't need mana regen for most of the game, and you should dominate early mid game with that extra AP and magic penetration.

Ignite helps a lot her burst, and it's very good for lanning phase.

Flash makes her less vulnerable, and now she has potentially 3 blinks that can be used a lot for juking and chasing.

When LeBlanc is brought below 40% health, she instantly becomes stealthed for half a second. When the stealth fades, she creates a Mirror Image that deals no damage and lasts for up to 8 seconds. This can only occur once per minute.




May not seem like a good passive, but it is, if you get stunned in the middle of a team fight (that shouldn't happen by the end of this guide) this passive will most time save you, because that half second is all you need to blink away.



LeBlanc projects an orb towards her target, dealing 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+60% of ability power) magic damage and marking the target for 3.5 seconds. If the target takes damage from one of Leblanc's abilities, the mark will trigger, dealing 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+30% of ability power) magic damage and silencing the target for 2 seconds.

Not the best skill by itself, but combining with her ult she has a very good low cooldown nuke that can silence someone up to 4 seconds.



LeBlanc rapidly moves to a target location, dealing 85 / 125 / 165 / 205 / 245 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to nearby units. In the following 3 seconds, she can activate Distortion again to return to her starting location.

Good blink that does fairly good damage, can be used for farming, especially combine with her ult.



LeBlanc flings illusionary chains towards a target location. If it hits an enemy unit, it will deal 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+50% of ability power) initial magic damage and slow their movement speed by 25%. If the target remains shackled for 2 seconds, the target takes additional 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+50% of ability power) magic damage and is unable to move.

For most of the game you will just use this skill to snare people and activate the bonus damage in Sigil Of Silence, don't get more than 1 point for it. The animation for the skill shot is different that the other skill shots, and the speed of the projective is slower, so you are going to have to practice a lot to master it.



LeBlanc can cast the previous spell she cast. The mimicked spell deals 10% / 25% / 40% increased damage.

Very good low cooldown ult, can be used with Sigil Of Silence for nuking, and with Distortion for farming or escaping, I wouldn't recommend using with Ethereal Chain most of the times. It can be tempting to snare two targets, or the same one 2 times in team fights, but Le Blanc is very frail, so you need to be very careful when trying this, for most of the time you should get out after your burst.

Pretty straight foward, you maximize your nuke first, Distortion has good damage, can be used for farming and it's very good to use with Sigil Of Silence for harassing, so you maximize second, Ethereal Chains has the same CC/cooldown/mana usage from level 1 to 5, so you maximize it last.

Distortion is very different from other blinks, so you have to know where you can't go through:

Start with or and depending on the person you are against in the lane, Doran's Ring against champions that don't harass much, Boots and pots against harassers.

are very good choices.

Is not a bad choice, but get it only if you are having a good game, a snowball item should never be core, or a must get it.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND: adds little to her burst. She doesn't need to be tanky, nor she needs the mana. She doesn't need the HP nor the slow.

Final build in most of the cases and the order i get them:

Le Blanc needs a solo lane to be effective in the game, she has good harass but it's also very frail since she doesn't have any health generation methods other than potions. So you need to know who you are going against before you buy your first items. for weaker champions that don't harass much, for harassers.

You shoudn't have problems farming, Le Blanc has a very good attack animation for a mage. You need to start harassing you opponent at level 2, use Sigil of Silence, than Distortion, auto attack them once, than use Distortion again, this should take about 180 dmg from them at level 2 and it's very safe. The auto attack is not a problem, because the target is silenced, and the minions don't have enough time to target you, since you get out of range with Distortion. To get out of ganks don't think twice Distorion away, and again with her ult if necessary.

I wouldn't recommend ganking since she's not very strong early game, you need to be farming and harassing your opponent.

Champions you can't dominate in the lane





These champions all have good damage as well as a good healing/shielding method, so you probably won't dominate/kill them in the lanning phase. You should buy boots and x3 Health pots against them, since they have good harassing(but do not limit to them only, other champions like Kennen and Corki as well).

This is where Le Blanc Shines, she has one of the best single target bursting combos in mid game. Distortion in, Sigil of Silence, Mimic, Ethereal Chain, Ignite and Distortion out. If you do this in the same order you should kill most of non tanks champions in mid game.

You need to take advantage of her good mid game, and gank/roam. Ask for golem if you are having problems with mana.

This combo can't take more than 2 seconds to execute, she is very frail so she needs to go in, do the burst and go out as fast as possible, especially on team fights.

Her number one priority in team fights is silencing and bursting a key champion, so don't go in before you chose a target. Good targets are non tank champions that can be destructive with their skills, like most casters, some ranged AD carries, and melee carries. That Master Yi or Sion won't be as effective if they can't jump in or stun someone because they got silenced and bursted.

Le Blanc should be played like most of the other casters, go in, use your cool downs and go out. Since her cool downs are low, you can go back in a lot of times, but never stay in, she's very frail.

Le Blanc is a very fun champion that has potential to carry a game, you should try her.
