Hey guys, It's SkiLLY here back with an update on Orianna my favourite champion. After the S2 Championships Orianna is one of the most feared AP champ in the game. She does great amounts of damage along with great a great utility kit to help assist her team aswell. Without further ado, here is the UPDATED GUIDE HOPE YOU ENJOY.

Masteries
21 - 0 - 9 : This mastery page is for optimal damage for AP giving you Cooldown Reduction, Tons of bonus AP , and Magic penetration which is all useful for playing Orianna.
Runes
This rune set up is for Standard AP champions.Marks (Red) - x9 Magic Penetration (Magic pen reds is no brainer for AP champions)
Seals (Yellow) - x9 Mana Regen( Flat mana regen along with the flat mana regen mastery will keep your mana at bay until you purchase your chalice. )
Glyphs (Blue) - x9 Magic Resist ( With flat magic resist runes your garenteed to win trades when you get your E because it passively grants you 10mr+13mr from runes is a whopping 23MR along with your chalice purchase, you should win all trades. )
Summoner Spells

Explanation:
I get ignite/flash NOTE: (Orianna does not need ghost as her W will be a 3 second burst of ghost and a slow which will help you get out of harm). I take flash which is the most OP summoner spell in the game, it helps you from getting ganked by simply flashing thru ledges and walls and can also net you kills when your opponents least expect it.

You can take these if you dont like ignite. If you do take tp and flash i recommend you to solo top and have your team place a ward in the brush at bot or at dragon for ninja ganks and 4v5 dragon fights
Skills
Passive: Clockwork WindupOrianna uses her ball as a focus for her spells and attacks. Orianna's ball automatically returns to her if she is too far away from it.
Orianna's autoattacks deal an additional 5/6.77/8.53/10.3/12.06/13.83/15.59/17.35/19.12/20.89/22.65/24.42/26.18/27.95/29.71/31.48/33.24/35 plus 20% of her Ability Power in magic damage. Subsequent attacks against the same target within 4 seconds deal an additional 15% magic damage. This bonus stacks up to 3 times.
Explanation:
You may think Clockwerk windup is useless but it can be the difference of life or death.
Her other passive is amazing with the flat AP quintessences as it converts your AP to bonus damage for easy last hitting early game.
Q: Command: AttackOrianna commands her ball to shoot toward a target location, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to targets along the way. However, it deals 10% less damage for each unit it hits (Minimum 40%).
Her ball remains behind at the target location afterwards.
Cooldown 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 seconds
Cost 40/45/50/55/60 mana

Explanation:
This will be your main harassment throughout the game. You ALWAYS ALWAYS shud facecheck brushes with this spell as its low cd and low mana cost and could save lives. You may think just to cast it at enemies for some damage but you can intentionally use this spell to zone your enemy.
W: Command: DissonanceOrianna commands her ball to release an electric pulse, dealing 70/120/170/220/270 (+50% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies.
The pulse leaves behind an energy field for 3 seconds, lowering enemy Movement Speed by 20/25/30/35/40% and increasing ally Movement Speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds. This effect diminishes over time.
Cooldown 9 seconds
Cost 70/80/90/100/110 mana
Range 1200
Explanation:
MUST READ: this is what will win you most lategame teamfights. Neat Trick is to E your ally who initates like singed then as soon as you see him going in W him for speed. At lategame your shield will give him 600dmg shield from the start and about 2x the ghost burst which can catch your opponents off guard.
This is why I dont take ghost on Orianna because it gives you 3 second burst of speed which at lvl 3 (30%) is faster than ghost (27%) and also slows for the same percentage. This is awesome for chasing an enemy down with blue but has quite a bit of CD so you must use it wisely.
E: Command: ProtectPassive: The ball adds 10/15/20/25/30 Armor and Magic Resist to the allied champion it is attached to.
Active: Orianna commands her ball to travel to and attach onto an allied champion, shielding them for 4 seconds from the next 80/120/160/200/240 (+60% of ability power) damage. Enemies the ball passes through along the way are damaged for 75% of the shield value: 60/90/120/150/180 (+45% of ability power).

Cost 60 mana
Range 600
Explanation:

YOU MUST GET THIS AT LVL 4!! Remember your passive?? Your ball returns to you when your out of a certain range which is kind of a handicap, but this spell will be able to save you. For example you throw your ball out and you see a gank coming. You quickly E yourself for the ball returns to you then immidietaly W to get away.
R: Command: ShockwaveOrianna commands her ball to unleash a shockwave after a brief delay, dealing 150/225/300 (+70% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies and flinging them into the air a set distance in the direction of the ball.
Cooldown 120/105/90 seconds
Cost 100/125/150 mana
Range 1200
Explanation:
It will bring the enemy back to where your ball was placed. NOTE: it activates where your ball is so make sure you use ur Q to align it with your enemy then R.
If used right, can win you the teamfight, buy if used wrong can cost you a teamfight. You can set up ganks and get running enemies to land you kills. The range on it is a little bit bigger than your W so get use to it by looking at your W range when you use it. The Spell combo you will be doing to nuke is Q+W+R+Q or Q+R+W+Q(this if the more advanced way so you should try the first combo until you get the feel of Orianna.) This combo can get all your opponents that you catch to at least 50% as it is an INCREDIBLE BURST that your teamates (if smart) can capitalize on.
Skill Order
Max Q first for Damage and Harassment.Max W second for damage and slow after landing a Q or for a short speed burst to get away from ganks.
Max E last as it is better for lategame for your initiators or squishy carries for a nice 600 dmg shield.

.I strongly recommend a void staff after purchasing your rabadons deathcap because after the AP you get from it, your opponents will definently be stacking some type of Magic Resist and thats where Void staff comes in and melt 40% of it which is a lot. Example : 200 MR - 40% = 120MR. This is why i almost always get Mercury Treads because of the MR and CC reductions instead of Sorc Boots because void staff will just melt 40% of their MR which makes Sorc boots useless late game. After purchasing your Void Staff you should grab a Lichbane. When you purchase lichbane you will immidietly see a huge difference in your damage because of the effect of Lichbane proc and your passive not to mention some Magic Resist and Movement Speed which also helps. You should pick up a Zhonya Hourglass because your damage will not go unnoticed and you will be the target. Wat you wanna do is do your burst then quickly trigger the Zhonya's effect to not take any damage but more importantly get your CD on your spells back up without being in harms way.
Early Game
This is where you can get your lane dominance. First go mid and as soon as minions spawn and fight at mid you want to Q (NOT THE CREEPS) to a point that doesnt hit the creeps but zones your enemy. Everytime your opponent comes up for a last hit Auto attack it followed by a Q. If your opponent started with a Dorans item of any kind HARASS that opponent as much as you can as you have 2 hp potions while they have none. Be careful and not to get carried away while Harassing as it can lead you to lose CS and get damaged by creeps which are OP early. The art of harassing is easy, once you see one of your minions low stay near it as your opponent will most likely come up to last hit. As the last hit your minion Autoattack him/her/it then quickly move back to your ranged minions as you dont want to take any aggro early on. Your primary goal is to farm for catalyst by rather last hitting and not fighting. ONLY FIGHT if you you know you can kill your opponent or if you can bait your opponent into a creep wave which will result in an early kill since minions are OP early. DO NOT BE SCARED TO DIE FOR FB (be careful) but if your 100% you can kill your opponent for FB do what it takes even if its dying right after as the FB bonus will help you on your farm.
Mid Game
This is where Orianna starts getting fun. You can get to either side lanes quickly for ganks or counter ganking because of your W speed boost. Kindly ask your jungler for blue, either the 2nd blue (7:20) if they started blue or the 3rd blue (12:XX) If they do give you blue you want to spam your spells mid and push your lane, and while your lane is pushing look to gank either side lanes where your opponents are over extending. You dont want to be trading farm mid because if you have 100cs so will he so it's not benificial to your team, so you want to be constantly ganking.Mid Game is also where you start racking up in Gold. Heres a neat trick to almost guarentee your Spell Combo without being in harms way of the team fight. Before the teamfight starts you want to E your initiator like Singed. As soon as your teams ready you want to W for a boost to initiate and when the teamfight is starting make sure your close enough to Singed that your ball wont come back to you, make sure to get your finger on R and wait for Singed to be near 2-3 people and as soon as you see that he's in range of 2-3 people you want to R immediately then W after for the burst damage. After that your enemies that were caught in that combo will be at the center of singed while your Q and your E are still up, As soon as you R then W you want to cast Q in the center of where your R sucks them in then immediately E your tank again since he will be taking some damage. You should always strive to get Golem buffs and it will make Your Q's cd around 2-3 seconds at 300-500dmg which is INSANE.
Late Game
Late game is where you SHINE *sparkle sparkle*Ive already explained teamfighting in the Mid Game section now i will be explaining how to poke to win teamfights or gain a free tower. Lets say your team is pushing a turret but your enemy is defending it. You should have your golem buff as it is lategame. You want to immediately Q next to their turret and try and hit an enemy champion. Since this will get aggro from their turret you want to immediately E yourself right after which at lategame should be around 400-700 damage shield. Keep poking until they are low. Once their low you and your team have 3 options. NOTE: While you are poking if you see that you've damaged one of their opponents considerably you want to try and kill him. Lets say theirs a veigar and you catch him with a Q and it takes 20-30% of his hp. Next time as soon as you catch him with a Q IMMEDIATELY R then W for a one combo kill. In Lategame blowing your ult for 1 kill is ALOT as it will result in a 5v4 with the advantage on your side resulting in a teamfight in your favour or an inhib or even the game.
1) Just take the turret and rinse and repeat on next one.
2) Force a teamfight as soon as someone is low or right after the turret kill.
3) You end up killing one.

Lets say theirs a veigar and you catch him with a Q and it takes 20-30% of his hp. Next time as soon as you catch him with a Q IMMEDIATELY R then W for a one combo kill. Hey guide says at top - get it at lvl 2 ^^

By that i mean that orianna already has her basic attack passive and when she has more spellsword, she could wreck havoc with her basic attacks mid- and lategame. If she has more than 500 ap then spellsword gives more than 25 damage to autoattacks and if she stacks her passive (1v1 for example), she can deal damage close to 200.
