I've started mainly playing Orianna lately, and found her both effective in her traditional mid role, and as a zoning support. I've been playing with a friend who jungles with initiators. Anyway, here's a fail story:
My jungler was rammus, we were at their inner middle turret, and rammus went to intitate. I had my ball on him as he charged in, and I saw a great time to catch 3 enemies. I hit R, and ulted...right at my feet. Rammus had outrun my ball.
The game still ended up in a victory, but I was having a good laugh about it. Thanks for the guide, it's a good resource.

I bought Orianna a while ago but I don't play her so much because I don't feel like I'm good enough with her. But this guide surely made me want to practice her more and more!
    Thanks a lot :D

@ Strider08000 Hey, as an Orianna player myself, the best way to deal with being camped as Ori is to not push and keep enough mana to use your EW combo on yourself. I know you want to be aggressive, but until you back and buy wards (if you're getting camped ward BOTH bushes), it is difficult to fight them off. Another way to counter camps is to keep your own jungler close by for the counter ganks, assuming you are both healthy enough to fight the enemy mid/jungler. Ori actually does very well with countering ganks, especially level 6+ considering she's very good at shutting down opponents' movements and keeping them around for a while (Dissonance and Shockwave), and is very good with helping the jungler even from a distance with her Command:Protect. Also, it is possible that your skillshot dodging is not quite up to the best possible level for you, so that may be a thing you want to work on!

@ TheRailgun . I am deeply sorry if this guide upset you this much :). I actually explain the answers for your questions in the guide itself (which i doubt u read anyways, based on your well heated tho short comment..) As i see, you wanted to state something to prove that your dislike on this guide is grounded, however all you did was just mark yourself as someone called "hater". If you have something to tell against my explanations or about the structure of this guide i am happy to hear. If not i suggest to move on to the next guide you randomly dislike for no reason, which is i guess your main activity for this day. (and probably for many days to come). Have a nice day ;)

Thanks for comment. I did build RoA that game but still wasn't enough to survive the ganks. I think it may be more advantageous to go 9 pots and 1/2 ward, no? that game I knew I could press my advantage with auto attacks and Q ball control to prevent her farm, so i stool below the minion wave so she had to choose whether to throw her ball at me or the wave to push. I would harass her perfectly, but the amumu ganks kept coming so after 2 kills I had to turtle. really not sure what is the best way to deal with this. I was following your build and running sorc boots roA but after the ganks had already happened, she's already snowballed and outfarmed me (even though i was outfarming her) and that was the end of it.

@ Strider08000 : Thanks man, ye i try to update as often as possible. Ill add the popular mids to the guide. Early game always "lacked vision" you cannot really do anything else then position yourself accordingly. That isnt really hard with Ori as u can keep distance using your ball. Ahri gets tricky after 6 when she gets ult. You'll have a hard time landing your spells and Amu can be also a pain in the as.s ofc. You either get hit by ahri's charm or amu's bandage and u can be done.. I suggest getting sorcboots early and building RoA in case they do catch you.
