enchantment-furor Better chasing and kiting ability, and good for positioning. I take this over alacrity.
enchantment-homeguard Good if the enemy team are attempting to push for win, and you need the quick heals at spawn pool, as well as the mobility to rush out and stall them.
Introduction
Hi guys, jjpjap here. This is my first guide ever. My favorite position is ADC, so that will be the core of my guides. Anyway, my favorite ADC is Ezreal. He has really high damage, and amazing poke. His passive can really amp your damage, and if you engage someone with max stacks you will destroy. He is played very often, and is a very popular ADC. I believe that Ezreal is a lane bully and a late game champion. His main damage ability even applies on-hit effects. Thanks for taking the time to read my guide!
Masteries

This is my personal favorite setup for Ezreal, and I would recommend using it all the time. Masteries are a matter of preference. For Ezreal the 21/0/9 setup is the best due to the 21 in the Damage Tree, as well as the mana and mana regen in the utility tree. Instead of putting my last point into wanderer, I get the Total Biscuit of Rejuvination. This is because it it a free potion, with mana and health regen. The mana regen is very useful, since I like to rush Bloodthirster first instead of a Sheen. With Sheen first, you have more mana and can possibly get armor masteries, though I don't like that route.

Some people take 21/9/0,which are your generic Defensive AD masteries. It gives higher sustain in lane, though hopefully you wont take to much damage in those early poke battles. This is only viable, in my opinion, if you rush a Sheen first. This will give you the mana you need to be able to use Ezreal to his full potential, which is high poke. Without the Sheen, using 21/9/0, you will have to conserve your mana, and you won't be able to poke at all.
Skills
[skills/ezreal/p.png] Passive: Rising Spell Force


Explanation:

In my opinion, this passive is very strong. Entering a teamfight with max stacks(5) on this will increase your damage by a lot. You will receive stacks when landing an ability. With your W, it can hit an ally and count too. With your Arcane Shift, the bolt that fires from it must hit an enemy. The reason Ezreal doesn't need Phantom Dancer is because of this passive, as well as his spammable Q.





[skills/ezreal/q.png] Q: Mystic Shot


Explanation:

Ezreal's main damaging ability. It applies on-hit effects, such as red buff, and it has great range. On top of all that, it has great damage. This ability has a 100% ratio for attack damage,and is one of your main damage sources due to the fact that it also triggers Sheen procs. This means that if you cast it, and you have 300 ad, and it is level 5, it will do 715 damage instead of 415 (not counting armor.Use this in between auto attacks, otherwise you would delay your auto attacks, lowering your damage output. This can be used in early game as a good poke tool, as well as a finisher for long distance fleeing enemies. It has a really high range, making it good for lifestealing far away from the teamfight. It can also apply the Phage slow. This will apply passive stacks if it hits an enemy champ or minion.




[skills/ezreal/w.png] W: Essence Flux


Explanation:

This ability is more for AP Ezreal, though I take it at Level 4 just for tower pushing. While pushing a tower, engaging in teamfights, and taking Baron/Dragon, use it on allies. Besides giving them an attack speed buff, it will give you stacks on your passive. This ability can only be used on enemy champions or allied champions, not on creeps. Don't use this ability for damage early game, as it will completely drain your mana, and do about 50 damage, which is worthless. Late game is has a decent base damage, so it can be used on enemies then. One scenario that I would use it on early game is if you can hit 5 people ( 4 teamates and 1 enemy, 3 teamates and 2 enemies, etc.) since it will give you max stacks on your passive. Also, it can be shot into a bush to check for enemies, and the amount of enemies in the bush.




[skills/ezreal/e.png] E: Arcane Shift


Explanation:

A great blink that has a small cast pause. This will save you so many times. I mainly use this ability for escape and position, not for damage. I will use it for chasing, but just know the risk that your escape is down. DO NOT USE THIS INTO BARON WALL WITH LOW HEALTH. This will apply a stack if the bolt that fires from it hits an enemy champ or minion.




[skills/ezreal/r.png] R: Trueshot Barrage


Explanation:

A great ultimate. It has high base damage, plus 100% ADDED AD. Added AD means the AD you get from your items, not the base AD. Most people use this ability to finish off fleeing enemies. This is a good idea, though it can be used right as a teamfight is about to break out to get max stacks on your passive. It passes through minions and champs, though it will do less damage if it passes through more people, down to a cap. It will get crushed by MAGIC RESIST. Yeah, you heard me right. It does magic damage folks. I used it on a fleeing Jayce with 300 health left, it was max level. So, it sounds like im going to get a kill right? NOPE only 200 damage. My jaw dropped at that moment. But anyways, a strong ultimate that can dominate at picking up kills early game.




Summoner Spells

Explanation:


[summoners/ignite.png] Amazing spell overall. This is a good spell to finish off or secure kills. Flash into ignite can kill a champion with low health.

[summoners/flash.png] Pretty self explanatory, most people take this. Some people prefer to take a different spell due to Arcane Shift, though early game Arcane Shift has a long cooldown.

[summoners/teleport.png] Good for map control, ward ganks, split pushing, and Dragon/Baron control.

[summoners/ghost.png] Another good spell, though one that I don't use. This helps with chases, or just getting to or away from an area in a timely manner.

[summoners/cleanse.png] Good if the other team has tons of CC, such as Amumu. A good pickup on all ADC's.
Item Builds
[items/berserkers-greaves.png] Do I really need to explain this? Some people say take Ionian boots of Lucidity. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't dare take those.

[items/trinity-force.png] Good item due to your Q. The Q applies the Sheen proc and the Phage slow, causing it to do immense damage amd great utility. And you get the attack speed.

[items/the-bloodthirster.png] It beats Infinity Edge in AD at max stacks. Alongside the AD you get a nice bit of lifesteal, which can help you sustain in teamfights. Your Q will lifesteal. Getting this item early really helps at dragon fights. Remember, when you guys it, get max stacks ASAP. This means farm the crap out of everything.

[items/infinity-edge.png] Big crits. Just, big crits.

[items/last-whisper.png] Armor Pen, and AD. You can get it before Infinity Edge if 3 of the enemies has 100+ armor.

[items/guardian-angel.png] If the enemies are focusing you and you have confidence that your team can protect you in a teamfight so you can get back up and reposition

[items/quicksilver-sash.png] into [items/mercurial-scimitar.png]Some people still don't understand that QSS builds into Merc Scimitar. Anyways, good if high cc champs are diving and locking you down in teamfights.

Final Comments
