Introduction-Hello everybody, my name is MajorBlackout. This is a guide I've been wanting to write for a very long time.
Singed is an incredibly reliable champion, able to completely dive in at any given time post 6 and will most probably always be the last one standing in a late game teamfight. However, it is important to understand how to effectively lane with Singed, in order to reach that phase.
Here, through extensive years of research, I've come up with a tl;dr guide for singed:
1. Reach level 6 (while spamming laugh)
2. Buy Boots, RoA, FoN (while spamming laugh)
3. F*** the world. (while spamming laugh)
I hope you find this guide informative and useful, even though I'm not the highest elo out there but I have been playing the game for an extremely long time, previously in the early 2011's on NA as well as a year back on EUW.
Also a long standing TSM fan for whom it concerns.
MasteriesI find the best way to set these up is 9/21, although some also like 0/21/9.
What's static is the 21 points in defense, all the way up to the Don't Give a F*** mastery. This gives Singed optimal performance, especially as he can be played in ANY role bar AD carry.
RunesThe Runes I use are rather standard for Singed, with the note that you can replace MS quints with Flat AP. Armor seals are rather standard for top most of the time, scaling MR blues as well. In short, when building and cultivating YOUR singed, you want him to be as tanky and fast as possible.
Ghost for move fast. Ignite for kill fast.
Singed can basically go any of these:
A Singed with ignite is usually looking for a level 6 kill, one with exhaust might want to play a bit safer, TP Singed spreads your "not giving a f*** aura" across the map and is really good when enemy Rumble calls MIA and suddenly their Caitlyn gets flipped into a bush.
Passive: Empowered Bulwark
This is a very nice passive that is 1/2 of what gets Singed in YOLO mode. Basically build Mana>Recieve Health, build items that give both health and mana>Profit.
Q: Poison Trail
THIS SKILL IS OP AAAAAHHHHHH 420 YOLO DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT. It releases an EXTREMELY high damage poison trail behind you at a fairly high mana cost in the first few levels that you shouldn't notice when you have catalyst. This is actually very deceptive in damage and if the Jax gets greedy he dies. Basically use this to farm, troll, and try to get people inside it.
W: Mega Adhesive
Many of the professional Singed players max this second, but I feel like personally maxing this and fling is a bit situational, although I lean towards fling because your insane MS partially makes up for an increased slow, plus it IS 35% at one rank only so your choice.
Also don't spam this early on as it has a pretty taxing mana cost.
Makes you a complete motherfucker. Adds so much to your damage. Flip into poison, towers, team, peel, initiate, burst, last hit, steal objectives. Also if you go Frozen heart-shureliya this has 7.5 sec CD dropped down from 11.5. Use this for some (not so) insane 360 no scope jukes by standing in a bush, flipping someone in and then running out.
R: Insanity Potion
The second half of what makes you fuck the world. Heal, MS, Tank, Damage, Regen, Tenacity. Pop it whenever you want wherever. Also with 0 CDR its on an extremely short 2 minute CD, with 35% from FH-S it's a minute and 18 seconds. It lasts for 25 seconds meaning you have a 25 second Kayle ult/Zhonya's.
Early GameLast hit, try not to use too much mana. It is a complete bitch to do from levels 1-4 and you will not have a fun time, but it pays off. Learn the autoattack animation and you should be fine.
Also, try your best to not get poked too much, easier said than done xD.
Mid GameYou should have quite a bit of cs and something around a catalyst, level 2 boots, a blasting wand and some wards. I can't really pinpoint every single detail here but usually at this point you can start diving from lane tower all the way to inhibs.
Late GameNever die. Don't care for anything. Haters gonna hate. Smoke weed every day. Press R and D. Press Shureliya.
Team FightsTeam fights depend on the enemy team. If they have divers like Irelia and Olaf, you generally want to peel first.
Otherwise, engage man-mode, pop every single speed boost you have, and flip the enemy carry for half his hp into your team. Run around everyone with your poison gas and no-scope some bitches.
Lane matchups: Annoying to lane against but zero escape mechanisms so if he over commits you have the upper hand. It's balanced cause you both have really shitty 1-6's. You want to get an early ward though as a lot of junglers like to camp Dyruis.
: Easy, Cloth-5, he pokes you early game with his full crit rune page and then you hit 6 or even 4 and kill him. Still worth mentioning he does outshine you in early levels.
: Pretty annoying as his early game outshines yours, and his passive could potentially mess up your poison damage after a while. You still dgaf about him though.
: He could actually potentially counteract your MS with his but in the end he's still chasing you.
: Play safe, farm till 6, get jungle help. If she tries to dive on you early with Q (unlikely though) just flip her either into your tower or back where she came from. She counters you pretty well though and an Irelia who knows what she's doing is the scariest thing in LoL.
: The dunkmaster. You want to be trapped in his ult in a 1v1. Trust me.
: You possibly have an early advantage but Jax just anally rapes everything after Tri/Gunblade. You still have a chance but try to get jungler help.
: OP champion goddammit ranged poke and best disengage with E and harass and slow kill yourself.
: Destroys melee tops early but just wait for 6.
: Highly mobile, great burst, if he kites you he will faceroll you and you may cost your team the game.
: JUMP ON ME PLS
: Lee is #1, extremely tricky to deal with and can easily kill you early on+could force hard disengage after you hit 6 and ult+ghost with his kick. Can W to minions as well.
: Shield OP, can get away easily with his Q, but shouldn't be tough to dispose of.
: he gets dunked.
: NO MATTER WHO OR WHERE YOU ARE HE ES NUMERO UNO HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE
: The cycle of life and death continues he should just die but he annoys you with his free exhaust.
: Many sustains, goddamit this E permaslow. not that big of a deal though.
: You own an AP nid, too much MS for spears to hit. AD nid, can trade really well but you still win.
: Laneswap don't even bother with this guy he wins so much its not even funny goddamit.
: Pretty easy, can be annoying with early game poke and as long as he doesn't man drop bot when he has a doran's blade and come back up top with a B.F. Sword you should be fine.
: You WILL lose the lane. In teamfights this champion is BS.
: This guy so OP but he wants to chase you for the kill and you want him to as well.
: If well played is very hard lane, but still pretty much dgaf about anything Singed.
: Goddamn this lane bully, you shouldn't have that much trouble but it's still not a faceroll lane.
: I quote Dyrus guide here: "gay"
: Duelist, kite her and you win.
: The world explodes.
: AD is easy, AP is easy. Stun is annoying nonetheless.
: Very alot much OP sustain, consider morellonomicon (please don't). Annoying CC.
: Alot of people say is hard counter, just flip the bastard and show him the power of your scout's code.
: He will crap on you in lane and out of lane. Annoying to deal with, also ENDLESS RAGE ENDLESS RAGE ENDLESS RAGE WILL MY POISON KILL HIM NO HE Q'D SHIT.
: This bastard. He will relentlessly transfusion you from levels 1-6, then he heals everything you do to him, then he pools away. Set your jungler on his ass.
: No kills here.
Final CommentsI hope you found this guide useful, it is also my first time writing a guide on Solomid so if i derp the formatting then meh.
