Introduction
Hello, I am Pentakill Olaf and welcome to my Season 3 Jungle Olaf guide. I am Pentakill Olaf, currently in Platinum IV League and I play a lot of Olaf :)
I decided to write this guide since many players seem to be a little lost in the new jungle with all the changes to items and camps.
I hope this guide will help you understand the game and the champion better.
Masteries and runes
Masteries:

Pretty basic masteries for Olaf in S3 jungle.
Offensive: 9 in offensive gives you upgraded Ghost, some CDR, AD and ArPen.
Defensive: 9 in defensive gives you health and reduced minion damage and Bladed Armour for faster jungle.
Utility: 12 in utility gives you increased buff duration, movement speed, improved recall, -10% on summoner cooldowns and 3% Lifesteal and spellvamp for increased sustain.
Runes:

Armor pen is great on Olaf, Especially after the change on how armor penetration is calculated so I got both Marks and Quints Flat Armor penetration to make axes hurt A LOT.
Flat armor seals are must.
On glyphs you can go with either Flat Magic resist or scaling. It's up to you.
Summoner Spells

Recommended:
Ghost
I personally love the combo of your ultimate and Ghost on Olaf, it makes you super fast and you can catch everybody as long as you hit few axes.
Smite
Must.
Remember to active W when smiting for health boost.
Other possibilities:
Flash
I don't really like Flash on Olaf. It just feels that Ghost is so much better in many ways. Also flash was nerfed in the S3 patch.
Exhaust
Exhaust is an ok option on Olaf. It makes Axes easier to hit, but still I would go for Ghost. But if you like to use Exhaust/Smite combo do it.
Skills
Passive: Berserker RageFor every 1% of his health missing, Olaf's attack speed increases by 1%.
Explanation:
Great passive which makes Olaf deadly while on low health, also Olaf doesn't need to itemize attack speed cause of this passive.
Q: UndertowOlaf throws an axe to a target location, dealing physical damage to units it passes through and slowing them for 2.5 seconds. If Olaf picks up the axe, the ability's cooldown is reduced by 4.5 seconds.
Explanation:
I love this skill, it slows, deals a lot of damage with armor penetration runes and got a very low cooldown. This is what makes Olaf a fast jungler too.
Remember to hit the targets and catch the axes.
W: Vicious StrikesFor 6 seconds, Olaf's attack damage is increased and he gains life steal and spell vamp.
Explanation:
Gives you sustain and great dueling power. Also this makes Olaf to be able to build a lot of HP and still do tons of damage. (Basicly a mini
Passive)
E: Reckless SwingOlaf attacks with such force that it deals true damage to his target.
Explanation:
Great skill, doesn't cost mana and got a low cooldown. Oh, and did I mention it deals TRUE DAMAGE?
You should try to use your E and smite at same time to secure objects like Baron and Dragon.
R: RagnarokACTIVE: Olaf instantly removes all crowd control effects from himself. He is also immune to disables (including silences and blinds) and has increased armor, magic resist and armor pen.
Explanation:
This is what makes Olaf viable. Ability to not give a f*** and walk past CC while being tanky as hell. Use this when you are about to get cc'd.
Skill Order

Start with Q for faster clear on first camps. I also max Q first for the increased damage and slow. It's also your main damage ability.
I get a point on W at level 2 so jungle is safer. Remember to use W while smiting. I leave W at 1 because the other skills are better to level up first.
I max E 2nd for the damage and cdr which scales pretty well with levels.
I get a point on R whenever possible.
Jungling
Start at wolves, Ask lanes to damage them, Spam Q. Go for blue after wolves. Since leashing was removed you will need top (if blue side) or bot (if purple side) to damage it. You should aim to go for smiteless.
REMEMBER TO KEEP SPAMMING AXES.
After blue go for wraiths and red. If you got smiteless you can skip wraiths and go for quick gank after red.
REMEMBER THAT HAVING W UP WHEN YOU SMITE HEALS YOU.
Ganking:
1. Go towards a lane, try to avoid being spotted by wards.
2. Hit axes
3. Collect axe
4. Hit axe again
5. ????
6. Profit.
Jungle Matchups

Difficulty: Easy
Notes: You can easily tear him apart by invading his jungle, it will set him behind even though you might not be able to kill him due to his

Difficulty: Hard
Notes: Udyr got stronger in the new jungle. He got very fast clear speed and he is good duelist. Don't let him counter your jungle so it's suggested to ward your jungle entrance.

Difficulty: Medium - Hard
Notes: Mundo also got stronger in the new jungle, but Mundo is weaker for invades before he hits level 6. Also his first clear is pretty dangerous so it's possible to kill him while he is killing red/blue or wraiths. After level 6 Mundo gets a lot stronger and you should start warding your jungle entrances so he won't steal your jungle.

Difficulty: Medium - Hard
Notes: Lee is very dangerous jungler, He can out duel you at level 2 - 3 so he will most likely try to invade your red. Also his early game ganks are better. After level 6 you should be able to out duel him.

[number]Notes: Rammus is weak dueller and got weak jungling. Go kill him and countergank him. Ward his jungle so you can kill him there :)
Item Builds
You should always start with

Pretty good guide, upvoted it of course. I have two questions:
-Why don't you consider buying Zeke's Herald? It has health, AD, lifesteal and CDR which all are mandatory (I think) stats on the Cowboy from Hell (aka Pentakill Olaf). Bonus, you are sure that someone else will benefit from its aura, namely the AD Carry.
-About masteries, wouldn't it be better to put only 3 points in Sorcery (=3% CDR instead of 4%) and put 1 point in Summoner's Wrath? I find the 35% increase on Movement Speed bonus from Ghost too good to be left out.

@Monkmonster; I have been experimenting with the new Locket lately and seems to be good item when you need to get tankier and cant go for damage
