    It's important to note that against Olaf, your best defense in running away is to change directions obliquely to maximize your chance of living. Also, Olaf's strengths are the ability to ignore CC and deal good damage while building pure tanky, and deal MORE damage when he has lost life. Learn how to use his abilities to get kills early game, dont save your Ghost.

    Pretty good guide, upvoted it of course. I have two questions:
    -Why don't you consider buying Zeke's Herald? It has health, AD, lifesteal and CDR which all are mandatory (I think) stats on the Cowboy from Hell (aka Pentakill Olaf). Bonus, you are sure that someone else will benefit from its aura, namely the AD Carry.
    -About masteries, wouldn't it be better to put only 3 points in Sorcery (=3% CDR instead of 4%) and put 1 point in Summoner's Wrath? I find the 35% increase on Movement Speed bonus from Ghost too good to be left out.

    I don't really like Philo on Olaf but it's obviously personal opinion. I am not 100% sure about masteries myself but basicly as long as you have 9 or more in defense you should be fine on Olaf.

    After my first game with Olaf I have a question. What do you think about Philosofer Stone (into Shurelya's Reverie later) on jungle Olaf? Get boots and Madred's Razors but build Philosofer Stone before you finish Wriggle's seems like a good route to build it. As far as I know, life steal only heals you on basic attacks (and certain abilities such as Ezreal Mystic Shot). For this build I removed 1 point from Veteran Scars and 1 point from Scout, putting both into Artificer (for lower cooldown on Shurelya's, who knows, it could save your life or score a kill in late game). I also put 1 point into Summoner's Wrath and remove 1 point from Sorcery. Increased speed from Ghost seemed more useful than being able to throw another axe with 1% lower cooldown.

    People just downvote the guide without any explanations, would be great to have some feedback so I can improve the guide.

    @Monkmonster; I have been experimenting with the new Locket lately and seems to be good item when you need to get tankier and cant go for damage

    not a bad guide, one of the better ones out for s3, only thing that bugs me is idk if 14% cdr is enough to fulfill me on olaf, i <3 my cdr on olaf

    Maybe switch 1 point from Scout and another from Mastermind and put them on Artificer? I mean you'll have wriggles for most of the game and this should shave off 30s on the cooldown (assuming that it works on wriggles).

    I guess it's up to personal preference but I just prefer to use flat ones.
