IntroductionThis is a basic S3 guide for Singed and which of the new items work well with him. If you're looking for an in depth guide on how to play Singed you're at the wrong place. ^_^
MasteriesMasteries: I Went 9-21-0 for the simple reason of being tank as hell from early to late game even though you wont be building that tanky. Also the 8% Magic pen is MUST on Singed since it makes is early game damage just plain crazy.
The reason i didn't take 3 points in wanderer like i would in S2 is The new boot upgrades make MS masteries unnecessary.
Runes9x Magic pen marks for a massive damage boost making you a force to be reckoned with from level 1.
9x Flat armour seals for that top lane etc. etc. etc.
6x Flat AP glyphs for some more damage (usually enough to get first blood with). :D
3x Flat Magic resist glyphs. The safer option to go for to make you all around tanky at level 1 and to make you survive that level 1 teamfight/invade.
*exception*: I highly recommend switching the 6 flat ap glyphs to flat magic resist if you are going mid and maybe replace 3-6 armour seals for flat ap if you're still planning to go for FB.
2x Flat AP Quints for some more damage.(Damage is a good thing.)
1x Movement speed Quint since we're not taking movement speed masteries and we don't have upgraded boots yet we might as well take this for the edge in MS early on.
I'v always chosen this over flash since it's just much more useful on Singed (chasing/running/making them think you're running from a gank when they should actually be running)
You could choose instead of but i recommend being a man and taking ghost because after all, you're looking at a SINGED guide.
This is really free kills if you think about it. Most people will chase you while attacking you until they realize their hp is getting low and should turn back before you try something. That's when you turn around, fling them behind you and ignite them. There's no escaping that unless your name is volibear (just kidding, you're still dead). Sometimes flinging them back isn't even necessary since not everyone expects your poison to be doing this much damage, remember you're no ordinary singed!
Then there's which is still viable on singed but with i really don't see the point unless you're up against someone like in which case i'd still choose ignite.
I usually start with + because of the mana problems Singed has early game. Really helps in getting first blood too, wouldn't want to run out of mana when 1 more fling could get you the kill.
Another option would be the standard + which offers some great early sustain and helps against the skill shot champs.
Then there's the new + which seems to offer a lot better sustain than but i haven't really used this much since i start with the first (best, trust me) option. Then again you might find this more effective.
I always get on my first back and usually pick up a with it. Next I rush since I believe this is the best early item you could possibly get on singed.
I usually grab after because of how usefull the tenacity is but if you're having trouble in lane with a heavy AD champ you might want to grab . Not only is it A LOT cheaper but could also save your life where wouldn't have.
I leave the , or enchantments for a bit later on.
This is the standard choice for me since I usually lead teamfights and this makes it easier for my allies to keep up.
This is also a great option since it helps you get back into the battle as soon as possible with the 8 second 200% movement speed boost and the instant regeneration of all your hp and mana instantly when standing in the spawn pool.
Another good choice especially in the laning phase when you have an opponent with a movement speed boost like etc. for you to be able to catch up to them without popping . Also good for team fight initiates.
I have found that getting instead of the usual works extremely well for top lane thanks to the armor boost not to mention the active that makes tower diving a breeze. If you're going mid lane you should stick with for the AP/HP. Keep in mind that has 100 less hp and mana but i think the bonus armor and the active more than make up for it and only costs 50 gold extra, making it a great item for its price.
After getting or your next item should be . This one one of the most usefull items on that you could possibly buy and should allways be bought for the massive amounts of CC, AP and HP.
Next I get which is key to winning teamfights and making your epic escapes, it can also be used to save another member of your team with the active that frees the target from all CC and healing them for 150 + 15% of their missing hp it also offers some good magic resist and makes sure that you don't run out of mana even while leaving your q on for too long.
Next I pick up which gives some good ap magic pen and some more health. The best past about this item is the unique effect that burns enemies for 5% of their health when dealing spell damage which is doubled to 10% if their movement is impaired for example when slowed by ;)
The last item i get is . This item seems familiar right? WRONG. If you look closely you will see that this item has been changed from to making it to me a viable item on Singed. This item no longer has the grievous wound active, it now has the passive. Whenever you deal damage to a target below 50% health all healing effects on the target are reduced by 50% making this the perfect finishing item. Normally this item would be substituted for a defensive item which could be a better option but if you already have a tank on your team I would suggest taking this.
These items are all viable on this type of singed build and would work well depending on the situation.
Most builds i use for Singed differ according to the enemy team so don't hesitate to substitute some of the main build items as you see fit.
Secondary build: (when my team is winning, the enemy team is full of melees or when i'm too lazy to follow build.)
Then build into: or replace one with for the CC. Meaning you have mass HP, Mana(more HP with ) and AP.

Auv2 Corbin: When you use the active it consumes 125% mana to shield you for 5000 HP for 15 seconds, thats the secret. You also get about 2000AP from this build making it the best build for singed. Trust me, i have 5000ELO.

Final CommentsThis is one of the most offensive ways to play Singed and yes I know that Singed is usually played a lot more tanky, this is just a different way of playing him. I think of it as an AP carry build and i have tried and tested pretty much everything in this guide and it has proven to be extremely effective.
