Zyra is 100% my kind of champion. Easy ulti, great team fight presence and is useful in every team comp because she has free wards, snare and great peeling ability.

Although I'm very low elo, I have to recommend to every zyra player to pickup athene's unholy grail. I was very sceptical of this item at first but it makes all the difference. Since zyra has enormous burst, you can trade blows with melee champions like master yi. Whenever caught out of position, place vinelasher plants close you to and place q on yourself. This saved me so many times today. :D Early game-> early mid ofc.

@3rdDegree for support Zyra yes, but it just sets you way behind in mid.

but wouldn't ryalis + liandry be a good combo

I've tinkered a lot with Rylai and feel like it isn't worth it. True the slow applies to plants and you do get an extra attack or two but note two things. To begin with every spell Zyra has is AoE so the slow on them is dimished and the same thing applies to plants, they slow dimished. Now thins isn't fully the case with E plants BUT you need to consider the fact that 90% of the times when in teamfights you would rather have Q plants. Now it's true that Rylais is good on some occasions but on very certain ones and certain team compositions. I'll push out an update of the guide including Rylai once I've done some more testing on it because it just happens that I haven't used it enough. The last thing to note is that Rylai is somewhat less cost efficient when compared to RoA (you pay more for what you get) and that it's an item that helps a lot in lane but Athenes and Zhonya or Liandrys are more important compared to it in teamfights and therefore should be your first purchases. What do you think about rylais on zyra? The plants will proc the slow so that the enemy will stay in range of the plants for a longer amount of time which increases the damage the plant will deal. (sorry my english isn't that good)

i think you switched up Rod of ages and DFG in the items section , you said Rod of ages is to burst the enemy carry instantly :P

Your missing a team fights chapter, it's required for approval.

You also need to strengthen your game phase chapters(early, mid, late). they're very lacking. Same with summoner spells chapter. You also need to include a basic walk through of item purchases from start, and until you've finished your core at least.
