@ FJLORDZ, the thing right now is that every game should be looked at differently.
Right now, I usually go for BOTRK in solo que because the jungler and tank will most likely collaps on you in mid/late game. Botrk helps with damage and escaping plus your own escapes with caitlyn are great against this.
However, when I que up with some guys or even duo queue, I look at the enemy team and especcialy the bottom lane. If for example a Miss Fortune is up against me, she will most likely go for a Bloodthirster. I usually go for that aswell then when I'm behind, but if you're fed and ahead, going for both doesnt hurt. I even go for BotrK and Bloodthirster first on Tristana, call me crazy (with a zeal ofcourse)
Nice build overall, but major question... With the retooling of BotRK (now 40% AS even if reducing a bit AD) do you really think overall Shiv outdamages BotRK? Plus it is useful with it's active giving MS and stuff...
However nice build overall, i like the idea of BT first (old school... :)
@ A WILD CAITLYN,
I don't use Lifesteal quints because I don't feel like it helps with Caitlyn's damage output. You already go for BotrK for the lifesteal and active, this is why you don't need the Lifesteal quints. Also, having AD runes makes you alot more scary in lane, if you don't go for the AD quints you have low auto attack damage for your harass. This will most likely cause the enemy team to go ham on you in lane.
As for the Tristana matchup, the key to winning against Tristana is shutting her down early game. If you let her farm up casually she will out damage you in mid game and most definitly in late game. Try to abuse her short range in lane and make sure to be agressive whenever you can. E.g.: support is going to ward, go for it. Always be wary of the enemy support's position against her, she is basically a piece of paper when you fight her
What do you think about switching those AD quints for Lifesteal quints? I have been trying it out lately and it works pretty well from early all the way to late game. With a dorans start you could gain around 10-15 health per hit and not including the headshot passive. Also, I have been losing a lot lately to Tristana even before the mid game. I am able to win most of my matchups but there is something about Tristana that makes her a tough nut to crack. Do more research on Tristana because right now I can't figure it out. (Maybe its her Q, which only has a 50 mana cost, but that can't be all of it)
Nice guide, should talk about the net-> Q combo, and smart casting for cait, I feel like using smartcast with cait is a nice and easy way of getting into the feel of smartcasting.
Been wanting to run the numbers on AD vs. Arm Pen and thought I would share.
For lvl 1 comparison, let's assume 21-9 ADC masteries and AD Quints, plus a Doran's or Long Sword start. Excluding any Marks, this will give you about 72 starting AD (+-2 depending on your champ.) Also assume that standard armor is on the 25 to 40 range, depending on champions, builds and buffs.
How much difference does it make choosing AD Marks over Arm Pen?
At 25 armor, the AD Marks do 1 point of final damage, per attack, more than the Arm Pen Marks. At 40 Armor on the defender, this goes to 1.5 points of final damage per attack advantage from the AD Marks.
What about at higher levels of AD and Armor as the game goes on? (Still comparing only the relative impact of the Marks.)
Higher AD pushes the advantage toward Arm Pen Marks, while as we just saw, higher Armor pushes the advantage back toward AD Marks. So the two offset to some extent. Against a late-game tank with 200 armor, your 300 AD with Arm Pen Marks will do +1 final damage per hit more than you would with the AD marks. Against a 100 armor carry, however, the Arm Pen marks do about 5 more final damage per hit. And if you assume the carry's armor was reduced to 50 due to Last Whisper/Black Cleaver, the per hit damage advantage from Arm Pen Marks goes to 11.
So, yes, if you don't need the help last hitting, Arm Pen Marks give quite a big late game advantage over AD Marks.

Good guide. Upvoted, though the jungle fight video didn't really seem to fit with anything.
