Hey guys i think i learned from the mess that was my Leona build (i hope) and this will be a much more structured build about one of my recent favorites Nidalee, i started playing her more since her model looks so much better since the update, i'll go over what i enjoy about the Bestial huntress and what i do when i play her.

The masteries i use for Nidalee optimise poke and burst potantial whilst giving her some sort of survivability during lane phase.
Spellblade is a useful mastery whilst playing Nid on top especially when farming after level 6 in cougar form.
I have tried AP carry masteries in top too and been successful.

The runes are pretty self explanatory but i dont wanna make this guide TOO thin so i wanna go over them here, of course with the Bruisers all being on top (i know why not play bruiser Nid AP is better for the people that prefer to poke hard and farm when the opponent is out of lane) you're gonna need armour and magic resist and since magic resist per level blues pay off so soon, why not indulge in a little extra late MR.

Other options





Ignite is usually a great way to get your opponent to get your opponent to back off under a tower, finish them off, or get them ready to die and the tip of a spear if they back off after a close trade.

Flash is the obvious escape option or even ready a sweet spear for the finish on a kill or assist with pounce on catching or fleeing an enemy.

Ghost is a less desirable escape/chase tool but it can sorta work better against some opponents

Exhaust is a useful weapon against someone like singed and somethimes against other opponents it WILL make or break a trade in most cases

The build i outlined as well as the other options i outlined cover both offensive and defensive possibilities, i even added what i'd usually go for if i get fed early, Void staff is really strong on Nidalee due to the armour pen being so nasty on spears, you could always try liandry's but then you are wasting a space better used for something else. of course add a comment to the end of the guide if you have any suggestions and i'll add them with a reference you your name.

Nids early game isnt the best its very much focussed on surviving till level 6 when you become an absolute monster Cougar form has so much damage potential when you land all 3 abilities if you do so you can push your opponent out of lane at the least at the most you bag yourself a kill or two... or the jungler babysits you and things go pretty bad if you dont play safe.

If youre jungler is competent you should also recieve some successful ganks and pick up a couple of kill between you.

Dont forget to use vision wards on toplane to assist with freezing the enemy wont push if they think they might get ganked any time.

In the mid game you sould have a decent amount of items so your damage output im both human and cougar form will be of a decent caliber, keep farming and roam mid then once laning phase dissoves throw a few bushwacks around (more against teemo) and try to pick orr opponents with max range spears and cougar form burst
(just dont go off alone and get yourself pointlessly killed)
Help out warding if necessary and try to get to the AD carry IF YOU CAN in teamfights dont run through and get focussed if you dont need to either. If you get low on hp bail out of cougar and heal and spear the other players.

Ofc Push WHENEVER you get the chance either that or get another objective

You'll be so strong at this point item wise just dont die without being of a good use and you'll do fine, and remember OBJECTIVES, OBJECTIVES, OBJECTIVES!
