Hello, my summoner name is Natzeroid. This is my first guide, so I hope you find it very useful. I've been stuck in a bunch of divisons forever because I get noobs in solo queue. But, with Katarina I could get out of divisions even faster! I will be teaching you how to get pentakills with Katarina. I've gotten about tons of quadrakills, but, I'm teaching you how to get pentakills let's do this! This picture inspired me to make this guide and make you pros! :)

Driven by an intense killer instinct, Katarina uses her talents as an assassin for the glory of Noxus, and the continued elevation of her family. While her fervor drives her to ever-greater feats, it can sometimes lead her astray.

From childhood, Katarina displayed a natural gift for combat. As the daughter of a prominent Noxian general many paths were open to her, but she rejected them all for the path of the blade. Rigorously trained by the finest assassins in Noxus, her father the best among them, it was not long before Katarina demanded her first assignment. The task they gave her was aggravatingly simple: assassinate a low-ranking Demacian officer. As she set to her work infiltrating the enemy camp, Katarina discovered an opportunity too tantalizing to pass by - the arrival of a Demacian General. Stalking him to his tent, she quietly dispatched his guards and slit his throat. Pleased with her impressive kill, she disappeared into the night. Katarina's elation faded the next day when her original objective, the Demacian officer, led his forces to ambush unprepared Noxian soldiers. Though the Noxians fought valiantly, they suffered heavy casualties. Furious at her mistake, Katarina set off to complete her original task. Returning to the camp, she spied her now heavily guarded target and realized a stealthy kill was no longer possible. Drawing her blades, Katarina swore the officer would die, no matter the cost. She leapt into battle, unleashing a whirlwind of steel. One by one blades flashed and guards fell, each strike bringing her one step closer to the officer. A final thrown dagger restored her honor. Bloody and bruised, Katarina barely escaped the Demacian forces, and returned to Noxus a changed woman. The scar she earned that night now serves as a constant reminder that she must never let passion interfere with duty.

= Have both sides of mid warded frequently because the jungler will gank a lot. Karthus is not a killer, go very aggressive. Try to deny his farm as much as possible, so he can't build damage or enough AP to kill you with anything. Karthus depends on farm to build damage to his ult, if you deny most of it than you will win your game.

= Diana counters Katarina hard. Make sure you roam to get kills or to have the jungle gank a lot because Diana can do high burst damage. Make sure you always keep a safe distance around Diana just in case she will come at you.

= Flash is like another except you don't have to select a target. Useful when: Engaging into fights, chasing down foes, and escaping.

= This spell is useful when your can not finish off an opponent. This can also be used before you die, so you can get pentakills even when you are dead.

Optional:
= This spell I kind of recommend because when you look at the enemy team while choosing you see they have a lot of crowd control, it kind of helps you avoid that crowd control(cc).

= This spell I don't use often but is viable for Katarina when bursting and taking down enemy champions.


= I've seen a lot of Katarinas get this spell. I think it's because they always get out of range because of Katarina's range on spells. I tried it and it's viable.

Pros:

• Katarina has the one of the highest damage ratio for her ult.
• She can destroy enemies even if shes low hp.
• Katarina is unpredictable.
• Katarina has potential to 1 v 5 and win!
• She uses no mana and low cooldown.
• She has one of the best passives in the game.
• She can overpower most champions.
• Katarina can out juke many champions.

Cons:

• Easily countered.
• Vulnerable to Hard Crowd Control.
• Early Game hard for Katarina.
• Somewhat team dependent.
• No CC moves.
• Nerfed a lot throughout many patches.

= Penetrates through MR when using and . Very useful late game when enemies start stacking MR.

= When your on cooldown and about to die, GA will help you get pentakills after you resurrect due to GA's unique passive.
