IntroductionHey all! I am Marjiz and I was about a 1200 elo player before i picked up evelynn. And in 2 days ive been increasing my elo with 200 elo, and im still increasing. Currently, I believe Evelynn is the best champion to carry "elohell" games, if used correctly.
First i should introduce my theories about evelynn as a character. I think she is extremely strong because of her ability to assassinate quicker than any other champion. However, the first objection would be then to say that she is useless in teamfights. That's where her comes in making her very difficult to play against. If a team groups then Evelynn can 5 person ult them and gain a huge shield ending the team fight right there. However, if they spread out, that leaves the possibility of assassinating an ad carry ending the team fight before it even happens. I do not believe she is broken as a character because she has specific flaws that can be taken advantage of to totally smash her. If eveylnn does not snowball she becomes pretty useless as well. I think she is in a very balanced state right now because of these disadvantages.
She does have a somewhat high skillcap. This mainly is shown through the difficulty of her early laning phase, decision making mid game, and positioning in team fights. If you can master these three concepts your Eve will be able to carry ALLLLLLLLLLLL the games.
Explanation:I have never tried any other summoner spells. This is because flash ignite is perfect for Evelynn and most mid laners overall. You need flash to keep mobile in teamfight. This is used to dodge AoE ults and melee ranged ults like Skarner's Ult before he can get it off.
SkillsPassive: Shadow Walk
Explanation: This ability allows you to walk through green wards. It allows Eve to be the most threatening ganking mid in the game. If anyone is in the circle displayed on the screen they can see you. Also, if an opponent sees you but you dont see him most of the time you will be notified by a red exclamation mark and come out of stealth.
Q: Hate Spike
Explanation: This is your main skill for farming. It is a very odd skill because it is not a skill shot. It actually auto targets the nearest champion or minion. It will then prioritize the champion or minion with the lowest health. It will be used for last hitting, farming jungle, and last choice AoE in a team fight. It should only be used in a team fight when its safe since its a very close ranged spell. Pretty good to use this to harass melee mid laners but not enough range for anything else.
W: Dark Frenzy
Explanation: This spell gets silly strong late game. It is also important in lane because it will remove all slows. This makes laning against anivia possible because u can hit w to cancel all of her slows. This also makes ganking with people like nunu 100% useless. Refreshes on kills and assists so you should be spamming this in team fights.
Explanation: This skill is just a nuke with an attack speed buff. The buff won't really help that much unless you're jungling or trying to shove. It has nice mana cost and should be used whenever possible.
R: Agony's Embrace
Explanation:Evelynn's ultimate is so useful in so many ways. It wins team fights. It wins small fights. It assassinates. It can save you from dying with a shield. Super damage here, this will be all your damage in team fights.
