@Tigerking: Yoummu's is pretty decent on Zed, but I feel like if you get BC, you can easily stack the BC stacks onto the enemy from far away with just W -> E. Which also benefits your team.

@Scorpoison: I do not go Elder Lizard because it doesn't give a lot of damage into late game. But it is a interesting item, I've built it on Zed before, but I think it lacks damage lategame.

When I use this build, I go with spirit of the Elder lizard for faster creep clear and a bit of true damage. Is this viable in high elo's?

Have you ever tried Yoummu's instead of Cleaver? It tends to be really good on assassins, and if you did it during your ult you could probably full to zero most people. Is there ever a case where you would recommend that?

You are using 12 armor pen runes because camps only have 12 armor, and it's not worth stacking more. However you are taking the armor pen in the offensive tree. Wouldn't it be better to take some more flat ad mark then ?

This is a very well written guide. This shows Zed's mechanics and how he can be played in any situation, while highlighting risks and rewards. Very good job. Amazing guide!

Zed is not the hidden op S3 champion, he is the true op champion. His single-target burst is guaranteed every game since he has no difficulty to farm from a distance.

I can't comment on the guides content but the build is spot on. I bought Zed yesterday, have played him 7 times in ranked and won all 7. He's fantastic for solo-q because he gets himself fed, and even if you aren't getting kills he clears fast enough to keep up with some sidelanes. As a result you are almost always in a position to carry. Also his ult is magnificent. Dodge cait ults, ashe ults. w/e
