IntroductionMundo is a very unique champion who isn't really seen in games much. But when he is, some people label him as useless, fat, and ugly.
WELL MUNDO DOES NOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK.
Mundo is a bad ass motherfucker that will run through your team and laugh in your face.
He will rip your fucking arms off and eat you for dinner.
Wanna chase him? HE HAS ULT AND CC REDUCTION.
You have ignite? Healing Reduction?
HE DOES NOT CARE.
Mundo will throw cleavers at your face until your brain explodes with anger and you decide to chase him...
But then wait... YOU CAN'T BECAUSE HE REGENS AND RUNS TO FAST.
This guy is kiting you like a boss and you have no idea what to do while the rest of his team gets baron as your entire team chases him.
There are other ways of playing him but this is my guide to mundo. He's like a singed except instead of AP, you have AD.
I tried playing him like singed, and it just doesn't work as well for the creep clearing factor unless you have W and sunfire cape.
With an AD steroid that is one of the hardest hitting abilities in the game, you can't help but not shy away from critical chance.
This guide will allow you to understand mundo from Dyrus' Point of View.
Have fun and enjoy.
I feel that every bruiser or AD mundo should have 21/9 because there is so many benefits in offense compared to defense and utility. You're already tanky enough so just raise hell with your tanky bruiser unkillable DPS.
I feel that if you're 0/21/9 you won't do any damage.
If you go 0/9/21 you still dont' do any damage.
If you go 21/0/9 I feel that the 6 MR and 6 Armor makes a difference when you clash with your enemies early on.
RunesReds: Armor Penn - Every AD bruisers main source of anti armor solution.
Critical Chance - Great for the AD steroid E which hits REALLY hard, and is really scary at lvl 1.
Yellows - Armor OR Dodge (User preference)
Blues - Flat MR OR MR per level
Quints - Movement Speed / Dodge / MR / Armor / Flat HP/ HP per level / HP regen per level / FLAT HP per level.
All user preference.
Exhaust: Good for escapes, good for chasing, good for early game first blood, good for shutting down certain heroes.
Trying to get away?
Someone almost dead?
About to die?
Attempt to steal baron?
Flash over a wall?
Passive: Adrenaline Rush
Dr. Mundo regenerates 0.3% of his max health each second.
This allows mundo to stay healthy throughout the game. When you have like 4000+ hp this regen is ridiculously helpful. It can't do anything but help you. Even when you're ignited.
Q: Infected Cleaver
Dr. Mundo hurls his cleaver, dealing damage equal to 15 / 18 / 21 / 23 / 25% of the target's current health (80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 damage minimum) and slowing them by 40% for 2 seconds.
Cooldown 4 seconds
Cost 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 health
Allows you to kite, chase, kill creeps faster. Probably one of his best skills.
W: Burning Agony
Toggle: Dr. Mundo deals 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 (+20% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies, and reduces the duration of crowd control effects on Dr Mundo by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%.
Cooldown 4 seconds
Cost 20 / 28 / 35 / 43 / 50 health per second
Allows you to farm, get away, do dps.
Increases physical damage by 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 for 5 seconds. Dr. Mundo gains an additional +0.4 / 0.55 / 0.7 / 0.85 / 1 damage for each percentage of health he is missing.
Cooldown 7 seconds
Cost 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 health
Allows you to gimp people early if you get a crit. This skill hits REALLY hard when it crits, so be sure to use it. It's also the highest damage steroid in the game.
Dr. Mundo regenerates 50% of his Max Health over 12 seconds. Additionally, he gains 15 / 25 / 35% movement speed.
Cooldown 75 seconds
Cost 20 percent of health
Good with GA.
Careful when you use this at near full health. You want to use it when you're chasing or when or to get out of the fight or when you're not ignited. You can use it before dying with GA and you will regen while reviving.
Skill OrderDepending on who you face up your skills how you see the situation.
If you're vs a melee, press E and hit him a couple of times.
If you're vs a range who you'll never catch up to, go ahead and level up Q.
If you're vs a Cho Gath who has like 6 warmogs, go ahead and level up Q. It hurts.
If you wanna be a pusher and you have spirit visage or warmogs or ult. Go ahead and max W and push your waves as fast as you can.
I suggest Q or E in most situations, mainly Q.
Item BuildsStarting Items:
- If you have teleport
(safe) - You can buy 4 if you want cause you're MUNDO BITCH
- VS hard AD like Pantheon.
(3-5 health pots) - I hardly use this but if you do, you can turn it into an emblem of valor
- If you're jungling or if your enemy laner gives no resistance.
VS AP: (Recommended)
Works well with your E
Works well with your E
Goes well with chasing running, and your E
(+ atmas obviously) VS Akali when you just need HP
Armor, Crit, Bruiser item
Press R, Die, Come back with 50% or more of your health
FUCK YOU IGNITE
If you ever crit with your E, they'll wish you didn't buy this.
Good to slow down AD attackers like vayne or kogmaw. Good for farming (heart of gold)
Sometimes the only armor item you ever need.
If you're a jackass
Good early game and throughout for farming and vs AD + more hp.
I don't recommend this but if the entire enemy team has stacked armor, you're gonna need this.
Good for sustain, and your team AD carries/auto attackers
Listen up fag, just because you're mundo doesn't mean you can buy six... warmogs.... oh... ok this sounds pretty good.

A Youtube video will come soon after.
Conclusion: Mundo is a bruiser potential AD DPS that does not give a fuck and hits as hard as a 100 trucks. He is fun to play when you have your moments and is viable in high level play due to his massive sustain, his HP % poke, his CC reduction AOE sunfire cape ability, and his ATTACK STEROID.
