EVELYNN BUILD GUIDE: Roaming like a taiwan hooker by Flawliss

Introduction

OK so alot of people hate evelyn and tbh i did too when her stun was taken away, i was a hardcore evelyn player before the nerf, and ive recently decided to start playing her again to see if i could still wtf pwn like i use to without a stun, its called adapting to the changes of a champion, anyway this isnt your typical roaming guide, i start out in the lane, then leave it around level 6 or 7 depending on how well your partner is doing, its always a good idea to let your team know in champ select your going to be roaming around 6 or 7, so they dont rage at you, i have always played eveyln as AP its so much burst its rediculas, it doesn't give people a whole lot of time to escape when a eve unstealths and kills you for half your hp ill go into more detail below.

Masteries

this is the masteries ive had the most success with ive tried 9/0/21 9/21/0 and 9/0/21, also ill explain summoner spells in more detail later, but [summoners/ignite.png]

is great on evelyn and if you take that instead of [summoners/teleport.png]

then grab improved ignite for the extra ap.

Runes

okay so my runes are pretty self explanatory, mpen marks for that extra bang, mp5 seals combined with masteries so you dont have to go to base as much when roaming, flat AP are amazing on eveyln she is early game dependent and needs those early game ganks to snowball, so i built her rune page around her doing really well early game, and ofc TWO flat ap quints and ONE mpen quint

Summoner Spells

Explanation:

okay so assuming you and your team are not complete retards and are using wards like you should be, eveyln is a straight up ganker machine, and teleporting to a ward, shroom, shaco box to cut off a low hp enemy is amazing, if you dont want to use teleport then i would suggest ignite all the way, for obvious reasons, always take flash, because sometimes you just need to flash over walls to get that kill or GTFO never grab ghost because your ult is basically a ghost. all other summoners are fail by comparison

Skill Order

okay like i said above, eveyln needs that early game dominance and because of this i max her [skills/evelynn/e.png]

first, it is your bread and butter, your WTF EVE!! RAGE inducer skill

i level her [skills/evelynn/w.png]

second to her [skills/evelynn/e.png]

and taking her [skills/evelynn/r.png]

when you can ofc, and i save her [skills/evelynn/q.png]

for last, its weak as hell early game and doesnt have a whole lot of usefulness till late game when your chasing fools

Early Game

early game is crucial to eveyln, SHE CANNOT DIE EARLY GAME like ever, idc if your team rages at you because you didnt engage a 2v4 with him, fuck him, your team is nothing but distractions for you to get fed use them as such, this phase of the game, all your doing is farming, and puttin the hurt on any squishy enemys in your lane, dont try to kill unless your lane partner iniates, almost 90% of the time, if your team mates see you invis standing next to a enemy, they will iniate, and when they are nice and engaged thats when you pounce and blow them to peices just be super careful and farm and stay what i like to call a defensive annoyance.

Mid Game

around 6 or 7 you leave your lane to gank the other lanes, sometimes sooner the enemy team on your lane has gotten a pink ward before your 6, all you do is look for weak and unsuspecting enemys to gank, again WAIT FOR YOUR TEAM TO INITIATE, always, only time you dont is if your team moves towards the enemy and the enemy backs off then you ravage slow them only backing off when you take to much damage, help the jungler by counter jungling, taking their junglers creep camps, buffs, etc, always keep a eye on all the lanes, making sure to take full advantage and punish severely those enemies who are low hp or are over extending

Late Game

so this is when imo evelyn really start being a monster, this is when you can almost two shot any squishy, or always catch that escaping low hp enemy, your damage becomes insane and every one on the enemy team is burning through money on oracles

Team Fights

okay in team fights evelyns only purpose is to focus the squishys with your team, if you discover your being focused to fast during team fights, then change your purpose to only catch enemys running away with low hp from the fight, just remain stealthed and kill any decide to run, wait for the enemy to blow all or alot of their cooldowns before engaging.

Final Comments

so this is my evelyn build it does really well, but its not for noobs, or people who dont understand game mechanics, timing, when to and when not to gank type stuff, ive had alot of success with this build, and imput is always welcome, like i said before evelyn is a pure ganker, chaser, run them bitches down and show them they cannot escape your wrath
