Hey guys, just giving you some updates regarding what's going on with the TSM Store.
Yes, the store is still coming and should be released very shortly.
At launch, it will have 3 series:
- Baylife series (see http://www.solomid.net/forums/index.php?/topic/15946-solomid-store/ for the list of shirts in it)
- Classic series (the black, orange, red, pink, blue ones that TSM wore at Season 1)
- TOP SECRET series (only 56413 people know about it; you're not one of them; I will edit this number as the information leaks to more and more people)
We're doing this mainly for you guys because you keep harassing us and asking us to shut up and take your money.

T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY CONTEST!!!
We are giving away 2 t-shirts to 2 different people. Each t-shirt will be of any design of their choice and will be signed by all 5 members of TSM.
How to participate:
Simply reply to this post (don't quote these instructions please).
Requirements:
- Write a short description for both series (Baylife and Classic; please keep it in the same post so we don't have to look around for it)
- The description is for the entire serie, not individual shirts, but if you feel describing each shirt in the serie is the best way of describing the serie then go for it.
- Be creative about what you write and keep it baylife bro
- Try not to go over 200 words for each
- Cursing, flaming, racism, sexism and other such things are not allowed
- Both descriptions must be just as good alone as there is no guarantee we will use both of your descriptions
- Must be in English
- Please clearly mark each description and which series it's for
- You ARE allowed to write more than one pair of descriptions. Make sure they are different from each other though.
- I'll add more things if people have questions
How to win:
The author of the best description for each series will receive once autographed t-shirt each. In the case that the same author write the best of both, we will give the other shirt to the next best one.
The winning descriptions will also serve as the official descriptions to the series.
RUNNER-UP PRIZES:
For all other authors that write something that truely captures the essence of the word baylife and understand what it means to be a bro, we will send all of them a free t-shirt of their choice (not autographed).
Deadline:
Sometime during the night of Thursday Feb 9.
Good luck too all and thank you for your support. Baylife.

Hey everyone. We're proposing some big changes to our guides section that will change the way that guides are displayed, and guide writers write them. We are hoping to get your input to help us decide what is best for the future of our site, and LoL guide sites in general. Let me explain my thought process as the designer;
The Dilemma
We're coming up to the third generation of guide systems on SoloMid. The second generation was basically a re-skin of the first. Because of the way guides had previously been written, there is no way to update the guide writing system without rendering every single guide written outdated. Any improvements we make to the way information is displayed or formatted in our guides, will be virtually impossible to apply to already written guides without the guide writer themselves manually updating them.
Because of this and other time/coding restraints, we were very hesitant to tackle the guides system during the release of Version 3 last fall.
The Plan
This does not mean however, that there are not better ways of displaying guide information. Infact, we feel that in many areas there are MUCH better ways.
Our plan is to simultaneously improve the usability of our guides, and increase the functionality at the same time.
We want to do this by creating a pre-formatted section for item builds. Prior to this, item builds in our guides have been done solely in the customizable text-box sections. We feel that by giving guide writers a standardized format for item builds; newer guide writers will find it easier to write higher quality guides, while veteran guide writers will still have enough flexibility to express their thoughts. The added bonus is that to the readers, they will find guides easier to navigate as more of the guides will follow a standard format.
Build Section Changes
Change is never easy, getting used to new systems and new UI's is never fun. We want to make sure that we are taking steps in the right direction, that will improve the experience of both the guide writers AND guide readers. To do this, we need your feedback.
The idea is that we want to give guide writers the tools to create multiple builds on a single guide, without commandeering the creatable-text sections. Because of this, we can no longer display runes/masteries/summoners/skill order prominently at the top.
Why? Unfortunately different roles, playstyles and builds require completely different setups. You wouldnt take AP runes on AD Tristana. You wouldnt start with support items on Jungle Alistar. But for a person trying to write a comprehensive guide on a championl; You're *currently* forced to prominently display build information on a single build, and bury equally important build information for a different build in the text sections.
This is not optimal, nor does it make sense. Multiple build paths is something that many people appreciate about SoloMid guides over our competitors, and we want to be able to help facilitate that with a better, more comprehensive guide system.
The Design Preview

We would love if it you could compare this to our current guide system. There are a few unfinished elements(like level numbers on skill order) as this is just a preview.
What we would like your opinion on, is whether or not the tabbed Runes/Masteries/Summoners/Skill Order sections take away from the current usability of the guides. Currently that information is all displayed at the top of the page, but it prohibits us from displaying multiple builds in the same guide.

The Ziggs patch notes have been released and there are a flurry of important changes. Instead of listing the entire patch, what I aim to do is give you, the readers, a collection of the most important changes. You can read the full patch notes here.
League of Legends 1.0.0.133
Ziggs, the Hexplosives Expert
Short Fuse (Passive) - Every 12 seconds Ziggs' next basic attack deals bonus magic damage. This cooldown is reduced whenever Ziggs uses an ability.
Bouncing Bomb - Ziggs throws a bouncing bomb that deals magic damage.
Satchel Charge - Ziggs flings an explosive charge that detonates after 4 seconds, or when this ability is activated again. The explosion deals magic damage to enemies, knocking them away. Ziggs is also knocked away, but takes no damage.
Hexplosive Minefield - Ziggs scatters proximity mines that detonate on enemy contact, dealing magic damage and slowing.
Mega Inferno Bomb (Ultimate) - Ziggs deploys his ultimate creation, the Mega Inferno Bomb, hurling it an enormous distance. Enemies in the primary blast zone take more damage than those further away.
Ashe - BUFF
Base health increased to 474 from 438
